I bought this as a gift for my 1 year old niece as she loves the song "the wheels on the bus". As soon as someone plays that song, she will stop whatever she is doing and start moving her cute little butt. When the package arrived, I pressed the button to listen to the music and to my horror it would barely play even a single line. I was so disappointed. The bus itself is very cute and exactly like the one in the OG video. The door doesn't open but the interior is cute and overall seemed sturdy. However with the full song not playing I was so sad and did not have time to get a new gift. So anyway I gifted it to her. Then I can back here to see if I ordered the wrong product or if I got a defective piece. That's when I saw one of the reviews where the person mentioned that there is a little button at the bottom of the bus which is set to "try me" mode. I guess they have this setting by default to save battery. All you need to do is set that button off and Voila. It plays the whole song. I let my brother know and when he opened it for her, he set that button off. The toy started playing the full song and many other sounds that it was earlier not playing. My niece was so excited with this toy and keeps pressing to listen to the full song and dance along. The sound quality is great. Currently it's her favorite toy. She is so happy and I am so happy to see her happy and relieved that it is playing the whole song. Yay. I highly recommend this toy.

A simple, sturdy toy with limitless play value. Load and unload, drive it, imagine going to school. Comes with the adorable JJ figure which has articulated arms and legs, so he can stand and wave or sit in his bus seat. My grandkids fill this bus with plastic animals and legos and whatever else interests them. Press on the grill to honk the horn, hear giggles, or sing along to a couple verses of the toddler favorite Wheels on the Bus. The song is sung by a chorus and has nice modulation, not the usual high-pitched rapidly irritating sounds of many kid's toys. The sound effects are short so, happily, don't overwhelm the imaginative play value. Also, there is an on/off switch on the bottom which must be set correctly for the sound effects to work as you want. It's a toddler toy that allows for real toddler play and can become a long-time favorite.

He loves it

Toddler son has the larger bus with the functional ABC buttons on the side, but being the little boy that he is, he kept purposely driving it off the edge of things. Got this small one for him, and it has been a wonderful replacement that he carries all around the house all day. It's so much lighter and the wheels actually move. We love that it plays the song, too! We just wish the headlights lit up and that the speaker was not underneath the bus. Moving the bus along carpet or even the couch or ottoman, the music gets really drowned out. My son ends up putting his ear to it just to hear it.

This adorable school bus is Sooo Amazing. My 2 grandsons love the song & this cute little bus is GREATTTT just make sure you have the switch on the correct mode to play the whole song. Definitely worth the price & very strong and sturdy. Love this

Very big bus. Sounds are good but very loud, I think there should be a volume up down button.

My granddaughter who is 2 loves this bus. The sound is good and besides playing the song, it has a couple more sounds. It has a demo, full play and off all in one switch at the back. Those who say it doesn’t play the entire song have it on demo.

Mon petit garçon voulait un bus scolaire donc je lui ai acheté celui-ci. Il adore la musique ! Ce petit bus jaune est solide et facilement maniable pour les petits. Dommage qu'il ne soit vendu qu'avec un petit bonhomme et non plusieurs.
