Greenwich Bay Trading Co. Dusting Powder, 4 Ounce, Rosewater & Jasmine

I bought this because it says it has Jasmine, and I'm crazy about Jasmine scent. Maybe it's a different kind of Jasmine scent on this one but it smells so good. It's light and not too strong. Sometimes I wear it but it mostly is for applying it to my clean bed sheets before bed. Feels so good. Not drying or no itchies. The smell doesn't last long though but a good powder for the price. Not expensive at all compared to high-end powders.

This powder is a must have!! It's better than any of the other after shower powders out there. Since the media went crazy against talc, which is absolutely ridiculous, most of the powders for babies and adults include chalk- like ingredients. This company offers chalk free powders in different fragrances. They are so effective that they can even take the place of deodorant. A little of this powder on the neck and chest will creates a beautiful silky look to your skin and provides a very light fragrance. The powder itself smells very strong in thy box, but once you wear it, the fragrance is very light. I gave this a four star because I'd like to see the powder even silkier than it is..... like the powders that are very very expensive and still contain talc. I'm just saying... to really prove that talc causes cancer in women, requires that people are observed for a lifetime and all other contributing factors eliminated. Just saying. Would love to see this powder come in more fragrances too. It's a great buy and a great product.

Disclaimer: I bought this product for my mother and she wrote the following review. I haven’t personally reviewed the product and acknowledge different people have different allergies, or in other words, this may not be for everyone… but Mommy loves it ;) I received the Rosewater and Jasmine dusting powder promptly within 2 days after placing the order. I appreciate the packaging and appearance of this product. It does come in a box perfectly packaged for gift giving! How happy I am with this product and with the company! If I could give more than 5 stars, I would! The product does have a strong smell, but that is because it has been contained in a plastic bag for shipment. Although it does lessen in strength after a few days, it smells heavenly and lasts the entire day! I have allergies to perfumes and strong smells but this product did not cause me any trouble. It was well worth giving it a chance. I think it does smell like roses—much like the rose petal sachets we used to keep in our linen drawers. I use this dusting powder in place of an anti-perspirant (I won’t use aluminum) and it lasts beautifully! I really appreciate one reviewer’s suggestion to put some holes in the paper covering the powder. I carefully punched five holes in the paper covering and it works perfectly without wasting any of the product. Would I buy this product again? Absolutely and I will shortly. Would I recommend it to a friend? Absolutely and I plan on giving a lavender chamomile box to my aunt and a lemon verbena box to my cousin! I say kudos to the Greenwich Bay Trading Company for a wonderful, safe (talc-free and paraben-free) made-in-the-USA product, for the three great scents, for the beautiful packaging, for the speedy delivery and for the great price! This product fills the room with a vintage perfume, that is mesmerising. Absolutely beautiful fragrance perfectly balanced more than I could have wished for in my old fashioned guest room!

I want to leave a different review on this item than I did the first time. I had said before it wasn't very nice smelling, but as time went on I've enjoyed this beautiful scent and would definitely buy it again. It may not trigger anything for the youth but I am 66 years old as of February and I've become grown attached to this. It leaves a beautiful scent on my body and my clothes. When you age you tend to lose your youthful scent on your body and you need something to bring back a mild scent that will help your body and your clothing smell good so people will enjoy being around you. I am very picky about this because no one likes being around an unpleasant scent. I haven't had an unpleasant scent as of yet but I do hear that as you age you do. This is the best powder for that. I will continue to buy it. It's terrific and has made me feel pleasant at just being me. I have had some comments from people saying I have a pleasant smell about me. It matters! Thanks for this product! It is terrific!
