We purchased both beef and chicken jerky tenders. Delivery arrived as promised. As soon as we opened the box our dog ran to the bags. Our dog is finicky eater because she was raised eating human grade meats from the start. Of course the plan was she not eat people food. Then we read ingredients. Basically it’s all the leftover animal parts USA laws prohibit feeding to people and it’s priced like expensive steaks. I just said no. It’s far better and cheaper to buy and cook for our “whole” family. She’s a small dog. The little plastic ziplocks for snacks are perfect size for 3 days of meals. She eats a wet/dry combo 2 times per day. I portion her meats into the baggies then freeze. Put one baggie in the fridge to thaw as needed. I preheat a covered frying pan on medium heat. Cube and cook the meat for a minute. Then turn off the heat and let it finish cooking. Total cook time is less than 3 minutes by oven. It’s 30 seconds by microwave. Not hard, sticky, or leaves residue. We teach her to take little bites by hand feeding because I watched her bite a huge chunk and swallow it. This is my only caution. Either break them into smaller chunks or hand feed which teaches them to bite off smaller pieces. Sometimes pets want to swallow without chewing. Possible choking is the primary reason why we watch her eat and play with toys. She’s our fur-girl.Full Moon has great quality treats at affordable prices for a good quantity - larger than 1-pound bags. I hope they stay true to their standards, ownership, and purpose. More importantly, I hope other merchants don’t commercialize this into another high priced brand. Instead, we need more companies to provide more affordable high quality products to working pet owners. It’s not another investment. This is another food we buy for our family. It’s another way to reduce the number of abandoned pets. I strongly recommend Full Moon jerky tenders and also taking cautions to prevent choking. But if your pet chokes just remember the Heimlich and other first aid techniques works for them too.

These are great, very healthy. They work very well for my almost 20 yr old dog who has some trouble with the crunchier ones.

Excellent product. My dogs love them. I have tried the beef and the chicken flavors. My dogs like the beef better but both are good. They're about five inches long.

My dog is very picky, and refuses all dry treats. This is the one product he has yet to get tired of- he'll yell at me if I bring him in from a walk and don't immediately give him a treat. As a bonus, he's lost several teeth, and these satisfy his desire for chewiness, but are soft enough for his gums.

I didn't know these were dog treats until I ate a dozen or so. Now to tasty for a human. They were too, soft and mild with a sweetness, After a big laugh (in disgust), I took them to my parents who have a couple of pooches. They love them. Even their cat ate them.

I've been giving these treats to my Danes for several years and it is their favorite treat. I give it to them as their dessert after dinner, so they give me 'the look' if I forget to give them their dessert! I like that they are soft and easily broken up if I want to use them for training. Sure, they are a bit pricey - but they are natural chicken strips - I can't expect they would cost less. So, it is great when there is a sale. It also is good to know they are pretty good for them with only natural ingredients and no preservatives.

My dog loves these treats. When I break it open, actually smells like beef jerkey I would eat. But good size treat and I feel good about giving it to my dog.
