I love decorating for parties, but hate putting holes in the walls, so pompoms and lanterns are my favorite go-to! I can tape them to the ceiling, pull them off later, and stick them in a box until the next holiday! These arrive unassembled, but come with clear instructions that have a sense of humor, unlike most overseas DIY products I see.The lanterns are very simple--open them gently and insert the wire hanger. Remove the hanger when the party is over, and store in the plastic envelope it comes in (so you don't mix up sizes the next time and accidentally rip one). The wires looked oversized at first, but fit very well for a nice firm lantern.The pompoms were simple in theory, but it took effort to unfold and fluff them, as silly as that may sound. It took me roughly 5 minutes to do each large pompom, so keep in mind to leave yourself enough time to set these up. When I was done, it looked nice (by which I mean, full)... but homemade. I removed one star because it was difficult to make the pompom look fully round.I received these for free in exchange for trying them and writing an honest review about them.

This ended up being really cute for a baby shower, but be forewarned - the pom poms take some time and work to make them look nice and even! You have to make sure the ribbon is tied in the center of the flower, and take your time separating out the individual "petals." The ribbon that comes with each pom pom is about 2 feet long, so I ended up using my own ribbon so I could have some pom poms that hung down lower. The lanterns were super-easy to assemble.

I really love the look of the pom poms and lanterns so I was excited for this order. The lanterns are easy enough to put together, you just have to be careful not to yank too hard when placing the 'pop-up bar' in. The pom poms on the other hand are time consuming and frustrating to assemble to say the least. It has nothing to do with the manufacturer, it's just the fact that they are made out of tissue paper which is INCREDIBLY easy to tear. Ultimately, you get a lot for a decent price, and they look really cute once they're finished.

We used these at my niece's gender reveal party and they looked great along with another set of blue pom-poms. They were easy to open & nice and full. I checked prices at all the local craft and party stores before ordering these. This was definitely the best value. We did not use the lanterns but I am saving them for another event. Additionally, I am saving the pom-poms in case we have another shower or party in the future.

Good quality and looked great at the baby shower. I actually used the lanterns as a craft and turned them into hot air balloons. They worked perfectly! The pom poms were great quality and I didn't have a single piece of tissue tear when I was putting them together.

These were super cute and you get quite a few. Making the tissue paper pom pom ones were a little bit of a pain if you don't get the string ties exactly in the center it doesn't look like a prefect ball. Separating all the tissue paper layers too was really time consuming, but when they were done they looked really cute.

This item is sold as a coordinating "set". However, the pom poms are a completely different hue of pink than the lanterns. The lanterns are 2 different shades of light pink that look very nice together but the pom poms are a salmon color that does not look good with the pink at all. This is not a coordinating set and I did not receive the colors shown in the picture. I returned the entire set.

We used these for a baby shower and they were great! They are paper so you must be careful when opening them.
