Okay, so these aren't premium quality knives but for average home kitchens, they'll more than suffice. The build quality is decent, the blades come very sharp, and the 1.4116 stainless steel used is on a par with the X50CrMoV15 stainless steel commonly found in mid-range sets that can cost double the price of this one. These knives will last for years without you having to think about them and are nicely weighty in the hand without being too heavy. The scissors feel study as well. If I could improve them, I'd make the handles slightly more ergonomic, so if that's important to you, other sets might be worth paying more for (and you probably WILL have to pay more to have that without sacrificing quality). One thing I would say, though, is that this 15 piece set feels a bit overkill. Many of these knives will barely ever get used and for the same price, you could get a smaller (5-6pc), more luxurious set with nicer handles. At this price point, that's the dilemma!

Purchased this set of knives to replace ones which have gone blunt after 22 yrs. I can't say much about them as I only received them yesterday but what I can say is that they came very well packaged, excellent quality and the two knives that I have used are very sharp and cut through bread and ham with great ease. Would definitely recommend! Thank you.

Great product, you get a lot for your money and the knives come razer sharp. Haven’t chipped any yet (even after trying) would reccomend as other sets do not come with even half as many knives for the same price/ quality!

It’s definitely not a premium product, nor is it German made (although branded accordingly)But the knives are good enough, decent quality.
