Q: The 48vdc output on the cb-pwrinj-na, is that a general output for all aps or are there multiple models?

The single-port Cisco CB-PWRINJ-NA provides 802.3af power and data signal, sending both to the Cisco Access Point. The power injector provides up to 15.4 W over the unused wire pairs of a Category 5 or better Ethernet cable, supplying enough power for a distance of 328 ft. (100 m) on the Cisco Access Point. It is a general output for all APs.

Q: Am i missing something or should this be powering my cbw140ac-b? my wap turns on, green for 3-4 minutes then off.

You don’t need this particular unit. So long as your PoE source supports 802.3af, and the source is not over the limit. I use a switch to power my 240Aac wap’s.
