Q: Is the power wire all copper or copper clad aluminum??

It is CCA, but i've had no issues. I ran 0 gauge from battery to trunk, it then goes to a 1 0 gauge in to 4 4 gauge out. One 4 gauge goes to 4 channel amp, 1000w, using about 600 total for door speakers. 800w monoblock to power the sub, wired down to 1 ohm its getting the full power. Im running the 200 amp main fuse from battery, i have a few fuses for after the distrubution block but neither the wire nor does the amps themselves even get slighlty warm. Ive bought about 4 of these kits and never had a issue, although i bought audiophile grade RCA cables seperate. I have the head unit, 7 band 1/2 DIN EQ, crossover, 2 amps, bass reconstruction processor and a capacitor hooked up to the monoblock amp, all on stock electrical system, a HO alt for my car is $460. I had dimming lights before cap and swapped all lights to LEDs. For CCA wire, it cant be beat, overall happy and will purchase again.

Q: Will this be ok for a 2800 watt/1400 rms amp with 2 12" subs? Or should I get the 0 gauge?

I ha e this kit running my crunch pzi3000.1D with 2 skar ddx12 and I haven't had any issues

It works great on my skar 1500.p 1500w rms

Q: Which is positive and which is negative?

If you are referring to the ground and positive.... the positive is green and the negative is black. It’s a pretty great kit for the price. I have it installed on my 2018 Atlas
