Worked great
We use this to filter out excessive calcium when filling our hot tub. Tried other filters in the past that did not work as well and ended up having to empty and scrub the tub as calcium would form a chalky surface on the acrylic. This is filter worked the best of any I've tried thus far.

Very effective and reliable product.
I’ve been using this calcium remover for a few years on my misters, and it works great! It keeps them clean, prevents calcium buildup, and stops the spouts from getting blocked. Very effective and reliable product.

Good if you're not living in Arizona
I have a smaller system on my pergola(12'×10'×12')so it works good. Because the water in Arizona is so bad I switched to a larger RV one. So if you don't live in Arizona you'll be fine.

Retro Fit Water Filter for Hose
I purchased this to add to my hose so I can wash my car. I live in Vegas and the hard water and my retro' a tive water softener don't work. Every time I try to wash my car it streaks all over when it is dried. This item arrived two days ago and I immediately washed my car. Pulled it into the garage to dry in the shade and for the first time in years after I dried my car it looked Ike I went to the car wash. I love the results. I hope it lasts more than one washing. If it lasted two months it woukd be worth it. Now, I want to figure out how to wash My hair with this water filter. The same stuff that made my car smugy also weighs down my hair!

Product connection quality
I used this for around a month and then my wife came in and said she had to shut off the water tap outside as water was going everywhere. I went out to find that this filter had come off the top. I have added two pictures to show the threads on the filter the first shows one side which is still pretty much intact but the second shows the stripping which resulted in the filter coming loose from the tap. I was using it to filter the water supply for a small water cooler in my garage; so, it was under pressure 24/7 but not any thing unusual. My water pressure is low if anything. I really need filtering as our water here is very calcified; so, I was really disappointed this happened.

Poor filter performance, don't buy.
My local water is about 250 ppm, this inline hose filter didn't show any noticeable differences. The filter is too small to properly filter and the male thread on my unit we damaged causing it to pop off the hose from the pressure. Used filter will and without plumbers tape still leaked or popped off hose. Don't waste your money

Ça fonctionne vraiment bien. Plus besoin de remplacer les buses constamment.

While I can tell that the filter has been removing some minerals, my misting sprayers are still getting clogged. Also, the threading for attaching this filter to the tap is very shallow. This, along with the soft plastic construction, makes it very difficult to create a tight seal. Had to use quick setting putty and strips of rubber to contain the leaking. Once I'm finished with it, I'll have to use a hammer and chisel to remove it. I would suggest passing on this one.

Using these filters makes the misters they are attached to essentially never plug up. However as the connections are plastic there is a chance of damaging the threads if your not careful and they leak just a little bit. Recommend getting some Teflon tape with it
