Amazing vanilla ghee - perfect for keto and everything else!
This 4th & Heart vanilla bean ghee is absolutely incredible! The vanilla flavor is perfectly balanced - rich and aromatic without being overpowering. It adds such a luxurious touch to everything from morning coffee to roasted vegetables. The grass-fed quality really shines through in both taste and texture. The clarified butter base is beautifully smooth and creamy with that perfect nutty richness ghee is known for. Being lactose-free makes it perfect for those with dairy sensitivities, and the high smoke point makes it ideal for cooking at any temperature without burning. What I love most is how versatile it is for keto cooking. It's become my go-to fat for bulletproof coffee, sautéing vegetables, and even spreading on keto bread. The vanilla makes it feel like a treat while still fitting perfectly into low-carb macros. The pasture-raised sourcing gives me confidence in the quality. The jar is the perfect size and the ghee stays spreadable at room temperature. No artificial ingredients or weird additives - just pure, clean fat that tastes amazing. The vanilla bean specks are a beautiful touch that shows the quality of ingredients. Perfect for anyone on keto, paleo, or just wanting premium cooking fat with incredible flavor! Highly recommend for gourmet ghee experience!

The absolute best ghee I've ever tasted
To start with, allow me to introduce myself as someone who considers butter a food group by itself, and it also happens to be my favorite food group. That said, I have been exploring healthier options and have been reading much about the composition of butter based on the cows' diets and grass fed is the only way to go considering it's better micro-nutrient profile, including much higher levels of CLA, better Omega-3 to Omega-6 fatty acid ratios and significantly higher levels of Vitamin A and E. Additionally helps to lower cholesterol and boost the metabolism. Cool! Taking this into consideration healthier butter seems to somewhat lessen the risk that someone is going to find me having passed away in my house after my not showing up for work for a couple days. Even cooler since my pajamas aren't all that flattering. For those transitioning to ghee from butter, the taste of many ghees seems to be lacking somewhat, until finding this! The vanilla bean is absolutely amazing in this ghee! In fact, I am using this in my coffee with some MCT oil (bulletproof coffee) and it is the best coffee I've ever had (coffee is also a food group for me). The taste of this ghee is nothing short of decadent, and more than worth the price, as the flavor and consistency go a LONG way! I'm purchasing the Himalayan sea salt ghee as well, and purchasing even more of the vanilla bean as gifts for my fellow butter lovers. I'm a believer and am so happy to have found a product that I can enjoy so much and change out one of those that isn't as good for my health. I am very grateful I tried this awesome product!

How did I live without it?!
Oh my gosh, is this ghee or thick, amazing vanilla pudding? I have to physically restrain myself ten times a day from going over to the jar for a spoonful straight. I've been eating grassfed, organic ghee for a while now for the health benefits and I haven't found any scenario where I like it less than butter, and that's saying something because I've been told my butter usage is "inspirational", haha. It's still a fat so it should be used in moderation, but it's actually recommended by many health practitioners, including my own GP. This particular vanilla bean ghee is incredible as a substitute for cream in coffee or black tea and I also add it to my turmeric golden coconut milk at night and the creaminess it imparts is phenomenal! My family also loves it on toast with some ceylon cinnamon and it's so flavorful I don't even need the sprinkle of sugar you'd generally put on cinnamon toast. It's not sweet at all as the only added ingredient is vanilla bean, but it's so rich and full I don't ever miss the sweetness and feel better knowing I'm not eating unnecessary extra sugar. My one and only complaint is that they don't offer it in an organic option, but after looking up the company's butter sourcing I feel comfortable that it's still ethical and not overly laden with chemicals or pesticides. I don't recommend purchasing unless you're ready to be addicted. Yummm.

UPDATED REVIEW!!!!!!!
I previously reviewed this item at 1 star and here is the original review: I can't write much of a review about the taste, texture, or quality of the ghee but I can say that it was poorly sent to me. The had a big oil stain on the outside and I could smell the butter ( one star for good smell and fast shipping). I open it and there is an even bigger stain and still wet. I guess the heat from shipping melted the butter. The plastic wrap was still on the lid but it wasn't tight enough to keep the lid in place. I could turn the lid an 1/8 of a turn to close it tightly. Butter was dripping from the jar as I lifted it out. I would have wrapped that sucker with bubble wrap first or sure everything was tight before stuffing it in an over sized box. There was only two air bags and my summer sausage. There was still plenty of space for two kittens. I guess I have to return it now since it's been opened and subjected to dust and whatever. And guess what...I'm returning it exactly how I got it. Ridiculous. UPDATE! I put in a claim that the box and product were damage. Due to the amount of butter that leaked out of the jar, it was safe to say it was damaged. Well, they immediately shipped a replacement and didn't require me to return the other one. Two day later it came and the box looked clean and I could only smell cardboard. Nothing seemed like it was shifting around in the box either. I opened it and see a beautifully wrapped jar of ghee with an appropriate amount of bubble wrap. I was so pleased to see this! The next morning I opened it and put a tablespoon's worth of ghee in my personal blender and brewed some coffee over it. I then put a little bit of almond milk in there and blended the hell out of it. This was my first time making Bulletproof Coffee and I was amazed by the smoothness and great flavor. So much tastier than coconut oil. I also used some to make mashed plantains and the vanilla bean really compliments the blandness that most starches have. I change my 1 star to a 4. If I didn't have the shipping mishap then this is easily a 5. I will post a picture of the wrapped product. Please excuse the hairy man paw.

ERMAGHERD, it's incredible!!!
Disclaimer: my significant other has been doing the whole bulletproof coffee thing for quite a long time now, and for that purpose, we usually buy the plain flavor by this same maker. We've tried the one with Himalayan Pink Salt and really enjoyed it, so we decided to branch out and try some other flavors here and there. I've come to use ghee a lot in cooking because the richness and flavor it brings is just second to none. I had no idea butter could be so intense. We bought this one on a lark, small jar in case we didn't like it. OMG, IT WAS WORTH IT! The vanilla flavor is very understated at first, but after it's been in your mouth for a little bit, the vanilla does this slow roll that makes you think you've just eaten fresh, pure vanilla ice cream. It's a rich but understated vanilla. My significant other went bonkers over this as a coffee additive. I plan to use it in protein shakes I drink for breakfast. If you've been on the fence about trying this flavor, don't be. It's absolutely delicious, and I can't even imagine how great it'd taste on bagels or toast or in a baking recipe. But I plan to find out!

I think I've found the ghee for me!
I am not a huge fan of ghee, I find that it either tastes like plastic, is too expensive, or I don't like the results I get from it's use. Yet I keep trying . . . I want to like it . . . I think I've found the ghee for me! When you first open the jar you will notice the nutty smell of the ghee, followed by the subtle but present scent of vanilla. It reminds me of a candle. Straight it is quite pleasant, it tastes just as it smells with no chemical or burnt plastic flavor that so many brands have. The texture is smooth and creamy, no clumps or hard pieces. Following the suggestion of a friend, I tried it in my coffee, which I normally drink black. It was a pleasant, filling drink. I didn't taste a huge amount of vanilla so if you are looking for a vanilla latte this isn't going to give it to you, but it is nice for a change. There isn't any sweetness that I could detect. I have also tried the pink Himalayan salt version from this company and enjoyed it for cooking and air frying veggies.

Tastes like the original Ghee
I thought I might enjoy having the vanilla bean flavored ghee as I've tried their original organic version so I bought the 16oz jar of vanilla bean flavor as it was the better value over the smaller one. When I got it I was excited to try it so I tasted a little of it by itself and, to me, it tastes just like the original "unflavored." Not sure if I got a bad batch one or. Not the fault of the company but my jar came kinda greasy on the outside and the label was affected so it's kinda wrinkled. The expiration date or best buy date or use by date was rubbed off when I got it and can only see a tiny part of what may have been it. The white seal under the lid was also broken/was apart when I opened it but looked intact so didn't think much of it. Maybe I'll change/update my review if the next one I try actually has a vanilla bean flavor that's noticeable and arrives "fresher" Otherwise, I wouldn't say it's worth the extra bit over the unflavored version.
