Ben says: turns out my dryer was secretly manufacturing sweaters out of dog hair. I grabbed this dryer vent cleaning kit hoping it would hook up to my Dyson without turning into an arts-and-crafts project. Happy to report: perfect fit, fired right up, and immediately started pulling out alarming, tumbleweed-sized clumps of lint. I’m pretty sure I recovered enough fur to rebuild at least half of Bernie. The hose had good reach, stayed flexible, and didn’t feel like it was going to shred itself in the vent. Suction stayed strong the whole time, and it was weirdly satisfying watching years of “eh, it’s probably fine” come blasting back out. If you’ve got pets, this thing pays for itself in peace of mind alone. Better airflow, faster drying, and less chance your laundry room becomes a campfire. Would absolutely recommend.

I found the Holikme 2piece Dryer Vent Cleaner Kit to be effective and easy to use. Upon opening the box, I removed 3 pieces of tubing in various sizes and widths, an appliance brush and a set of instructions. The tubing went together smoothly and felt secure. I actually worried about the chance of it coming apart and sliding down into my dryer's flexible exhaust pipe but once I saw it, I realized how silly that was. I have a Shark Navigator Lift-Away and found I needed to use my crevice tool to connect the vacuum to the tubing, Once connected, I turned my vacuum on and ran the cleaning tube down my lint trap vent. While it went in totally fine, I did notice the feeling of my dryer's access narrowing. I didn't force it any further but did slide it back and forth several times. I emptied my canister to show the amount of lint debris that was removed. It's not a flabbergasted amount, yet to remove anything makes this tool effective and necessary for every household. I am diligent about cleaning my lint tray after every load plus it gets washed every few weeks. My husband cleans and maintains the outside vent. My washer is four years old and I do between 4-5 loads of laundry a week. The tool took me on a cleaning journey under the washer n dryer, the stove and the refrigerator. I even used it under my buffet as I cannot get under it well with a mop or by hand. Again, while it wasn't buckets of dirt, there was a noticeable amount it picked up. I am more than happy to get rid of any /all dirt, dust debris or whatever else collects in the unseen spaces of my home and this kit is my new essential tool. A great housewarming gift that is priced well, I definitely recommend and gladly give 5 stars.

This is a very good tool, and works much better than one I had purchased in the past, which was nothing but a piece of large diameter clear plastic tubing. The tubing is plenty long, and the included brush is very helpful in digging out lint that's packed into the little nooks and crannies way down inside. It's too soon to tell for sure, of course, but all the parts seem to be sufficiently sturdy that it should hold up well, and possibly last longer than your dryer, itself. This tool is very flexible due to the ribbing on the main tube. However, that ribbing also causes heavy clumps of lint to get stuck, necessitating extra effort to clear out those clumps. (It's not really obvious from the photos, but the main tube is actually oval shapped, rather than round, which is what causes those laege xlumps to hang up. If it was round, then it wouldn't tend to clog so easily. But then it wouldn't be quite as flexible. So it's a trade-off.) The ease of use of this tool will depend a lot upon the type of vacuum being used. If you have a full-sized floor vacuum, it should work great. However, if you have a small, rechargeable battery-powered vacuum, as we do, it'll require a bit more effort. For example, those large clumps I spoke of also kept clogging the narrow intake aperture inside my vacuum. It wasn't a disaster, I just had to keep stopping the vacuum to open the canister, remove the internal vortex fitting, and clear out the clog. I had to do that three times before I finished. If you clean your dryer as little as once a year, it should be much easier than the first time. Ours probably hadn't been cleaned out in almost 10 years. I expect the next time to be MUCH less work.

This tool does the job with ease that it was designed to do. I received the product and connected the pieces as necessary. I then removed the screen that was attached to my dryer. Next step was to try this tool. It fit snuggly around my vacuum cleaner and did not feel like it was going fall off once I got started. The nozzle end (going into the dryer) was firm but soft enough to be angled and bent appropriately into the deep section of the dryer. It immediately sucked up a large clump of lint and "stuff." My vacuum canister was empty prior to me trying this out so I know how much was extracted. I ended up picking up a good deal of lint that would alternately been sitting in my dryer waiting for more lint to be added to it and possibly starting a fire. I feel confident that by using this tool every few weeks or so, will prevent a serious incident from happening. I love it. I highly recommend it and would purchase it again.

Works great, my dryer has a small filter slot and this fits great. Attaches to our shark canister vacuum. The brush is very handy and flexible for going outside where it is vented out and pulling out any built up lint. Would recommend.

Sadly the nozzle only fits one slot on the space where our dryer filter fits. Pity, as it would do the job nicely

This gets into the nooks and crannies of the dryer lint catcher and does a great job. The only con I have it it squeals at the junction to the vacuum and sometimes falls off too easily. It could be my vacuum too, the shape of the hose and power on isn't great, so it whines due to a poor seal. It is a good attachment, it really can get in there and get all the trapped hair and lint out.

Not too pleased with the results. Could give it a miss.
