This is my third brush, best brush ever for my wavy hair. I use this small one to define my waves by holding it up side down and forming a spiral over the handle. I bought a third because I need one in both baths and my car!

I use this brush on clean wet hair to separate the strands to allow them to curl without letting my hair get too frizzy or flat. Loved the full size so bought the small travel size. Love it.

I have thin, fine, curly hair. Only a brush this small works for styling for me. I keep these all over, bathroom, work bag, etc. So I can always brush my hair half way decently with less frizz.

First off I want to say this brush is not really for detailing hair but more for styling. That said, I love this brush for my toddlers hair. I was struggling to find options for her biracial hair & what I could do with it. I'm super happy I invested the money in this brush. It makes her curls look so beautiful & you can twist the brush as your brushing and it leaves a big beautiful curl for a super cute, super quick hairstyle. I'm taking a star because of size. It's soo tiny its kind of hard to keep in your hands. Besides this id definitely recommend it!

Take it from a hairdresser: This small brush looks toy-like, but it’s a professional-grade tool ideal for blow-drying short hair. With the pins pointing down, roll the brush into your roots to lift them against the direction they grow. With the other hand, aim your dryer’s flow-directing nozzle down the hair shaft toward the roots. Of course you must keep moving to avoid burning your scalp. This technique takes practice but produces a nice lift in volume and you can encourage hair to lay the way you wish.I trained at Vidal Sassoon, where back in the day standard-sized Denman brand brushes were mandated for all blow-dry styling. It can be tricky to learn to properly style your own hair, but for very short haircuts this little Denman really helps. While a larger brush might be easier to hold, this specific size and shape provides the perfect gentle curve to fit short hair, such as a pixie cut. It can make a big difference in the finished look.Excellent quality, smoothly finished so it will never snag or slice hair as cheaper look-alikes often do - it’s a compact but effective tool to brush or detangle hair while traveling or to carry in your purse. IMO well worth the somewhat steep price because it’s made to withstand daily, all-day heavy use under high heat in salons. So it’ll last you the rest of your life!

This wasn’t the quality of bush I was expecting. My hair is thick, 4A, but I don’t have trouble getting combs and brushes through it when wet. This brush was frustrating.

I like this brush for my fine, thin, curly/wavy hair. It is gentle and glides through without snapping strands or pulling out hair. The bristles are not sharp, but are sturdy, and the handle is comfortable to grip. I ordered several other styles of brushes from this brand and I like all of them. I no longer have scary amounts of hair falling to the floor or collecting in a brush every morning. Very pleased with all the brushes. This small size is perfect for my purse, even a small clutch-style.
