I got this for my basketball hoop outside and it didn't last 30 min. I got it and put it on the rim like how it is shown but the sticky residue that came with the item was weak and it couldn't even stick to it so I used tape but when I started playing basketball the lights started to turn off as soon as I shot the ball it is basically trash because the lights aren't durable it doesn't even stick good so you might as well not even try and get them if anything get super glue and put lights on the backboard if your hoop is clear if not them I guess there is nothing u can really do.

I completed installation of this on the basketball hoop, let it charge the batteries and attempted to turn it on at night. The photos show the results. Half of it lit, then immediately shut off and now it does not light even half of the whole light strip. This was a complete waste of money and time to install it. I would try a replacement, but I dont have high hopes for this product to last.

This was a big hit for a birthday gift. For the hard to buy for kid, it was the perfect surprise! Great colors and brightness. Very good quality & definitely recommend!

I wasnt to sure of the products quality, but so far it's just as bright on the hoop as the day I installed it. My kids absolutely love it! Battery lasts all night, and installation was easy. Only recommendation is use some extra zip ties when you install.

I ordered two of these for Christmas gifts, one for each of my grandsons. My husband hung one of them up on the basketball rim and it wouldn't work. He took it back down and it started working again. It had a short in it. When he moved it around it would sometimes work and sometimes not. We were not going to the trouble to hang it back up a second time to have it not work again. My son-in-law hung the other one up on the goal rim and it didn't work at all. I definitely would NOT recommend this item!

The Gute LED Basketball Hoop Lights are a great addition to our outdoor setup. Installation was super easy, and it fits securely onto the basketball hoop, adding a fun element to evening games. The lights automatically come on at dusk, which is convenient, and there are 8 different lighting modes to choose from.One thing to note is that, despite being advertised with a remote, there’s actually no remote included. Instead, the light is controlled by buttons on the solar panel itself. It’s not a huge issue, but worth mentioning for those expecting remote functionality.Overall, it’s a good product that works well for now, though I’m curious to see how long it stays securely attached to the hoop over time. So far, it's been great and has definitely made nighttime basketball more fun!

Very disappointed with the life span of this product. Almost exactly one month from the day of installation, the lights no longer lit up or the solar compartment no longer worked, whichever the case may be, this product didn’t last long. I was very happy with this product initially. I bought it for my 12 year old son for his birthday to put on his new trampoline with a basketball hoop. Living in Arizona there’s still plenty of hours of playtime in the outdoors past sunset. He absolutely loved these lights glowing and blinking, wrapped around the hoop. Installation was easy. Would’ve loved to have gotten at least six months out of it. One month is just unacceptable. I have not contacted the retailer as of yet. Hopefully we will be offered a replacement.
