This is very cute! The items are very detailed and very durable. My daughter enjoys playing with these. She also has a section in her room where she set them up. It looks like a little village lol. Very fun and definitely worth it.

I purchased this as a gift for my 5 year old. She had this set on her birthday list and she was not disappointed. Calico Critters are always high-quality, versatile toys. I appreciate how little space the toys take up and enjoy setting up Calico Critter scenes with my daughter! Each accessory in this set has the perfect details which adds to the whimsy. This toy is more expensive than I would like, but the value is reflected in the price.

I bought these Calico Critters for my 6 year old granddaughter. She loves playing with them and I was so happy that Amazon carries them as they are very difficult to find in stores. The playset and critters are well made and colorful and will keep any 6 year old happy. Since there are other Calico Critters, your child can use them together and can have hours of fun with them.

I love this set overall, but this particular animal is one of the harder ones to get to stand on its own feet (and even harder with the shoes on). Still adorable, but maybe don't get it as a /first/ calico critter if you're introducing these toys to a little one! It's great for kids who have really fantastic hand-eye coordination or are planning to hold it in their hand most of the time they play and are less inclined to try and have it pose standing in every single pair of shoes!
