This is a very well made high quality water dispenser. I rarely write a review, but I felt this product was worth a compliment. Foremost it looks great in my Alaska cabin. Classic sleek design, and I can load a 5 gallon water jug on top and it handles that just fine. The dispenser handle is a high quality stainless with a screw driver adjustment to tighten it over time if needed. Nice to see high quality products available to ship to Alaska. I will be buying a second one for my other cabin. Thank you.

I'm absolutely thrilled with the Geo Sports Porcelain Ceramic Crock Water Jug! Its sleek design adds a touch of elegance to my kitchen, and its compact size is perfect for saving counter space. Not only does it look great, but it also functions flawlessly—dispensing water smoothly without any leaks. I bought a 5 gallon glass jar to go with it, but realized the glass is too heavy to even be lifted. So I just put the water directly to to the jug. It's exactly what I needed, and I couldn't be happier with this purchase!​

Do not recommend. I’m an amateur potter, and it appears that this piece was not fully vitrified. The “micro leaks” that other reviews are referring to is actually the result of the item not getting hot enough or for long enough while it was getting made (vitrification). When this happens, water actually seeps thru the stoneware and that’s what causes the moldy ring. To be sure that the leak wasn’t originating from the spout, I added a small amount of water to the container (below the level of the spout) and set it on a dry paper towel for a few days and didn’t touch it. As a result, the paper towel was wet proving that the water was seeping thru the stoneware and not the spout. I was always told that items that are not fully vitrified are not food safe because the stoneware can harbor bacteria and mold. I will be throwing this item away and purchasing elsewhere.

Great quality and easy to clean.

I bought the white and am using it on a floor stand with 5 gallon bottles. I previously had an electronic dispenser that heated/cooled the water and it turned out to be a hazard that very nearly caused a fire one day (thankfully I was home and heard the buzzing and smelled burning wires). This is a beautiful and safe alternative and in the end I'm happy with room temp water anyway. The spigot does not leak at all but just in case I get clumsy I have a rubber floor mat and haven't yet seen a single drop on it. I like that I have the option to just fill this and use the lid if I want to place it up on the counter instead of the floor stand. It's great quality and versatile, very happy with this purchase.

Hold just enough water in the kitchen without ugly ,big dispenser .

The crock appears to be of good quality, however I ordered white and was sent black. I tried calling the number of the company and had a hard time getting through, but apparently they’ve had some server issues with their phones today. The color mistake appears to be amazon’s fault as they are the ones who packaged and shipped it, so that is not the fault of the company. I’m going return it and reorder it and hope they don't send me the wrong color again, because as I said it was a very nice crock!

The water in my town has a high level of DBPs, which can't be boiled out, so I've been looking for a low-profile and cost-effective solution to safe water. I don't need cold or hot and didn't have room for a large water station, so was looking for an attractive, counter-top solution. I've only owned this for a few days, but it is exactly what I was looking for. It's lovely sitting on my counter top. The listing says it's 3.2 gallon capacity and the box says 2.5. I bought a 4-gallong jug ofspring water and didn't measure, so can't say how much it actually holds, but many people will use it by putting a jug on top, so it doesn't matter. I've decided to fill it rather than sit a jug on top because of space constraints, but it's clearly built to take the weight.This is very attractive with a smooth finish, has a solid stainless-steel spigot and doesn't leak. Perfect.
