HEADPirate Junior Premium Youth Mask Fin Snorkel Set with Travel Bag

I am a diver and wanted comfortable equipment that didn't leak or break the first 2 times it was used.So far we have demo'd the product, all 3 items, in 2 different pools and will take them to open water in a few weeks. My daughter is a strong swimmer and I asked her to dive as deep as she could go and swim along the bottom as long as possible to test for leaks. The mask and snorkel never leaked. She has never complained of the fins rubbing or being uncomfortable, without booties. The fins are very easy to unbuckle and my daughter can get all of the equipment on independently.The snorkel has a small mouthpiece that swivels and really allows for the best fit with the mask and individual's physical features.This mask is smaller and my almost 9 year old son could use it this year maybe, but no longer. (I ordered him a women's small,different company,kit). I am guessing this would fit an average or larger 4-8 year old and a petite 9 year old. The bag for the kit will be great for packing (easily fits in a carry on ) and it allows her to carry her own equipment.It doesn't allow for much of the moisture to get out and in a humid climate you could have a moldy mess if the equipment was left in too long. This mask has tempered glass and a flexible,durable seal.Children need to be informed not to throw or drop the masks or to place them on hard surfaces with disregard for breaking and scratching.Our local scuba shop sells a similar kit for 80$; excellent value.

I purchased a small for my 7 yr old daughter and she is is petite. The fins were a little big, we adjusted them all the way, but the mask seems secure and airtight. The snorkel has a flap at the top to prevent water from getting in when she dives down and it seems to work very well. She swims like a mermaid in this and seems very confident. She has not complained of any issues with the mask or snorkel. Product seems well made and would recommend you spend the extra to get good quality. This was handy when we went on vacation, many snorkel excursions don't come with kid size sets, and the ones they do have are always lower quality. It's better to get the good stuff, otherwise your snorkel adventure just isn't fun when your gear doesn't fit right.

I bought this for my 7 year old daughter prior to our trip to Maui. In Maui she absolutely loved it and was able to snorkel and see what I have been talking about for years. We started with just the mask in the pool, added the flippers and slowly added the snorkel. I was also able to find a beach "baby beach" where there are almost no waves and she was able to stand up any time she wanted to. She snorkeled almost everyday for 2 weeks and has been excited to go back. The only reason I didn't give it 5 starts is that a little water leaks into the mask as she has a small face and its very hard to suction. The quality is pretty good and I believe it to be a very good value

We would have loved to give this product 5 stars as it was fantastic...however the strap that holds the mask together broke on the third swim - our daughter uses this in the swimming pool. She absolutely loves the fins, says they are extremely comfortable and fun to use. The snorkel worked as advertised and she enjoyed that as well, didn't take her long to master it. The mask fit well and was comfortable but one of the pieces broke and we have to return the whole set. I will try to find the same brand and see if I can purchase each piece separately. We may wait until next summer so that if there are any issues we don't miss the return window. Hoping it was just a one time problem.

Bought this for my ten year old Grandson to use in our pool. It works great for him. I thought it would take awhile for him to learn to snorkel but he was a natural. These get used by him and his friends and trust me they handle them roughly. Despite that, they have survived the summer completely intact and will be good to go for next summer too. I highly recommend these simply for how well they have stood up to the constant wear and tear of several kids pulling them off and on all day. I have used the mask myself and seals with no problems. Like the bag to store them in also.

Thought the flippers didn't fit til we pulled out the insert and then it fit fine--if your child has wide feet then I think they would be too tight--she doesn't have much room in the width department. The goggles fit nice and tight--leak proof and the snorkle works just fine and comfortable....even adults could share the snorkle and goggles if they had their own pair of flippers.

I had originally tested this snorkel with my daughter in a swimming pool and it worked fine. On our trip to Maui in april on the 4th use of the snorkel it started sucking in water. My husband and I both tried it and it did the same. we couldn't figure out where it was getting in from. My daughter was very disappointed as this was her first snorkeling trip, she is 7. Other than that the snorkel mask and fins worked great and fit snugly.

Real tempered glass lenses, the skirt and stap on the mask is a very soft silicon, snorkel has great features, encluding a whistle which is great for getting attention in a loud environments. Over all a great little set for the money so as long as you get the right model, the double lens version, not the single. I made a video showing the differencess on YouTube.

Good set of kit. Ideal for pool . Son used it for his padi seals scuba course.

The snorkel lasted all of ten minutes in the pool before the end of the purge valve fell off rendering the snorkel useless, not a great experience for a learning child, very disappointing since this is not a cheap snorkelling set for kids, contacted the seller but they were not interested they all ready had my money!
