Below is the review I left … I am coming back to revise as my son wanted to try this Stanley - and he said it did in fact STAY HOT !!!!!! I have to say he liked it and I have to change my review from 1star up to 5 star my review How can it stay hot for 1.5 hours with a big drinking hole in the lid. Cannot be used to take a drink with you as you cannot seal Just a mug that can hold a drink and not fit in my opinion and I am a great Stanley fan. It’s great quality but will not keep hot for 1.5 hours. Like the look but very disappointed it won’t keep my drink hot (((( should have extra lid to push on and insulate and make transportable Expensive lovely but would have liked a lid redesign

Great mug. Not just for camping - excellent to keep your brew warm for longer at home too.

This is a brilliant camping mug and I use it for work as I never seemed to get a hot cuppa until now. I did have an old enamel camping mug that was either scalding hot or clap cold. Not anymore though. He even likes his, well he mumbled something which I’ll take as a positive.

Classic Stanley, very well made and well insulated. One of the few brands I can consistently rely on to deliver on quality still. Overall brilliant travel mug but a few complaints. The cup size doesn't fit a standard cup holder so no good for travelling in the car with. The lid is also just for insulation purposes and isn't leak proof. Final complaint is that the opening for drinking from in the lid makes it difficult to control how much you sip when it's very full and hot! I usually don't use the lid at home Overall a very good mug for camping or if you wanna keep your drink hot at home whilst you're working or something. Not too expensive either

Great quality. Dish washer safe is important as not many brand allow to do so without damaging the shell of mug .

Keeps drinks hot for upto an hour, with the lid on. Bought this for the wife as I have one, excellent if your a slow drinker or who puts your cuppa down and forget you have one.

gave to my husband for christmas along with the matching french press. keeps warm for so long and he said he likes the way the sip is designed. easy to clean.
