I chose this knife block for it's size - we have a spot below our kitchen cabinets (that's not very wide) where we used to have a traditional knife block. It wasn't working for us anymore because it would only hold certain sizes of blades. This one holds any and all sizes, and it looks so much nicer on my countertop. The HEIGHT is especially important; it allows me to remove a knife easily without bumping into the kitchen cabinets when I pull it out. I'd ordered another design previously that was too tall and didn't work below cabinets.

Looks great it my kitchen and does a great job. It's true (like other reviews mentioned) the magnet seems to be located higher up and not throughout the entire block, but it still manages to hold my knives in place. I do recommend.

Outstanding product. Takes up small amount of counter space, holds 7 knives & 1pair of scissors. Very attractive appearance too!

I really like this block, the metal base is attractive as is the wood. It is compact and looks more expensive than it is. Pictures of item are true to life, but do make it look a tad bigger than it is. For the price I'd buy this again. Sharp way to show off knives. 😉 Cons: 1.The top magnet is strong enough for most normal knives, but heavier knives won't stay put. It needed maybe one more strip a little lower or a stronger main magnet. 2. Mine came bent on one corner but it wasn't worth the return process, i used pliers to bend it back and you couldn't tell unless you looked for it.

I love this product. It keeps my knives handy and organized for easy access. Because the blades lie flat against the magnet, they are also safe.

We have some nice kitchen knives ranging around $150 a piece and didn’t want to keep them in a drawer, this holder makes them look nice but also keeps them very well protected without needing to be mounted. So glad we finally broke down and purchased it!

Came assembled and ready for my new knife set (EUNA knife). You do need to hold the block sometimes when taking knives off because the base is not that sturdy but it stands up just fine. Also I put more knives on the opposite side with no problems. Scissors will stay on too! Nice block

I bought this to replace my bulky knife block. I love it! It saves so much space on my kitchen counter.

The design is slim and lean. It greatly reduced the clutter visually. The strength of the magnet is just right – enough to hold the knives but not to hard to remove the knives away from it. Really glad with the purchase

... szkoda, że nikt nie napisał że ten stojak centralnie rysuje się od patrzenia na niego. Po ledwo kilku dniach już kilka dużych rys. Taki stojak miał mi ułatwić korzystanie z noży, a nie je utrudnić. Zwykły stojak do którego wkładamy noże jest o niebo lepszy.

Todo correcto. Las gomas de la base hacen que asiente bien sobre la encimera de la cocina. El imán sujeta los cuchillos lo necesario para que no se caigan (incluso cuchillos grandes) pero no tanto como para que sea difícil despegarlos. La madera (de acacia en mi caso) le da un toque estético bastante curioso, pero como cualquier madera que pones en contacto con piezas de acero afilado, se puede arañar al igual que una tabla de cortar, por ejemplo. Si esto te supone un problema, tienen una versión en acero inoxidable. El tamaño va bien para mí, pero eso depende de cuántas piezas quieras colocar. En mi caso tengo 5 cuchillos de diversos tamaños entre las 2 caras, pero hay sitio para alguno más (dependiendo siempre del tamaño, claro). El único pero que le podría poner es que sólo la franja superior tiene imán y los cuchillos más pequeños y menos pesados tienden a girarse un poco si no los colocas en el sitio justo. Quizás un segundo imán en la franja media solucionaría este "problema" (que no es realmente un problema).
