R48 Red Velvet (Intense Deep Auburn) on medium-brown hair
I used R48 Red Velvet on natural medium-brown hair that had not been dyed before and the initial effect after dyeing was that it was much darker than before (but this lightened back to medium after a few washes) but the red color is brilliant and attractive. It has a slightly blue sheen undertone on brown hair which is a gorgeous contrast to the red color. It's very lovely in natural light, but it can be hard to see indoors depending on the lighting. I have seen some reviews voice concern about how dark it looks after dyeing but it will lighten up and just show the color after a few washes, so fear not if you don't like that! Another positive aspect of this dye is that it's very easy to clean up off of countertops and the tub. It will lift very easily with only cleaning vinegar. I was pleasantly surprised. Will buy again.

Good color! Dye makes hair feel good ❤️
Love this color. The red came out fast but it fades to a really pretty color! Cant complain and hair still feels strong and I like the conditioner it comes with also.

Safe for Pre-Lightened Hair !!
This review is long, but if you're truly interested in this color and worried about how it may take to treated hair (which I was, I had to hunt for a review on hair that was already bleached before and it was still much darker than mine) then I promise it's worth it!! A briefer review for people who do not care: good product, I found it easy to use (I put all of the steps into a bowl and used a mix of both a brush and my hands), it is messy!! I thought that was just some people being unprepared for how messy hair dye is, but it is a very thin formula that can splatter so easily. There are warnings on the top of the box when you open it to make sure you get all of the product out from each thing, and I did exactly that, so the end result (it was on for a bit longer than 25 minutes, maybe 45 at the most) is the two reds. One is wet, one is dry. I can't say anything about how long it lasts, because I don't really mind having to touch up that much, but do put a towel over your pillow for the first couple days after dyeing. Okay, so I've been bleaching and coloring my own hair at home (with help when needed) for about two years now, and I don't really use box dyes because I love the bright colors of Manic Panic dyes. I tried them for one color and it became my go-to. I've wanted to go to a dark red for a good while, but Manic Panic doesn't have any colors like that that I thought were close to what I wanted. If your end color goal is Lee Chaeryeong from ITZY (when she had red hair), stick with me because that was my goal, and I actually feel pretty happy with the result. My biggest concern when looking for a dye was the fact that box dye is kind of meant to be visible over dark hair. I have light hair, and I didn't want it to be super bright when that wasn't what my goal was. I'm literally ONLY leaving this review because of the fact that I couldn't find ANY that were over pre-treated hair! I found one YouTube review and I decided that that was my sign, so over two days I got the pink out of my hair and dyed it. If you're just looking to see if it'll work over bleached hair, it works perfectly fine (I'm pretty sure, my starting hair wasn't exactly blonde but it was light enough that I am so, so sure it'll work fine), but I did accidentally leave it on for a little more than the instructions say to! Okay, if you're still reading this (honestly I know nobody is but I do not care) and have a bright color you're changing from, this is what I'm here for. So I started with that bright pink in the picture where my face is halfway in frame, and then I tried some at-home color removal tricks to see if they would help; they didn't, so I resorted to shampooing two, maybe three times for long periods and rinsed with hot water. That's where you get to the pictures where I'm holding up the front and then showing the back- not good pictures, but you get the idea. The pink was clinging to the front pieces of my hair, but it had rinsed fine everywhere else, so the last stage of getting my hair prepped to have a dark (and not pinky) red was to use toner on my whole head. I actually don't remember what level of the Wella toner I used, but I think it was either a) exactly the one that people recommend online for blonde, or b) something really close. I left that on for the correct amount of time and rinsed with some still-pink and mostly kind of purple and grey toned hair, which was good enough for me because I just wanted no yellow undertones if possible. That picture is the one where my hair is almost purple and silver. The next two are the results, the wet hair is right after I finished getting the dye out of my hair and the dry one is right after waking up. I KNOW that that was a LOT, but I really need a lot of guidance myself, so if I can kind of help anyone else like that I'd like to try. OK bye

Absolutely Love This Hair Color!
I recently tried the L’Oréal Paris Feria B61 Downtown Brown, and I am beyond impressed with the results! The color turned out exactly as shown on the box — a beautiful, cool-toned brown with gorgeous dimension and shine. The multi-faceted highlights really make my hair look vibrant and healthy.

Love this hair dye!
I absolutely love this L’Oréal hair dye. What really impressed me is that it works beautifully on natural black hair without any bleaching. The color comes out as a soft, subtle red, and it looks especially gorgeous under sunlight — very natural and shiny, not too bold. It also doesn’t feel overly damaging to my hair. My hair still feels smooth after coloring, which is a big plus for me. I’ve repurchased this dye many times from different places because it’s been so reliable. Recently I saw it on Amazon at a discounted price, which was such a great deal, so I went ahead and subscribed. Definitely worth it if you’re looking for an easy, low-damage way to add some color to dark hair. Highly recommend! FYI: it will dye the floor and the wall!

I’ve used Féria for years and love it!
I’ve colored my own hair for years! I prefer L’Oreal to any other brand. I originally used their 93.5 color, which they discontinued. I hope to see it back!! This 91 color is Champagne, but it still brings out my natural reddish strawberry blonde. I prefer the golden/strawberry coloring, because that was the natural color of my hair until I had my children (at which time my hair got a little darker with each of my 3 children). This dye DOES create a multi-level color effect, which I like! It does leave my hair shiny, and my hair doesn’t feel coated as some dyes have done. The L’Oreal conditioner is awesome! I wish it could be purchased independently of the color kit!

Incorrect color example
I chose the color Rosey Blush because I wanted a light pink color. I did a bleaching beforehand, i started with a light blonde. It colored well, including Grey, but the color was not anything like the box examples. My hair turned a darker coral color. The produce works well, but the color was not as advertised.

Best Hair Color Brand
This is my go to shade for a soft brown. The highlights are so pretty and golden. I have used other brands, but Feria smells good, is easy to use and does not damage my hair. It also lasts a very long time.

Easy process. Happy with colour. Not too red. Colour rinsed out well. No bleeding on your sheets after first application.

ロレアルシリーズは、ほぼ白髪染めのものばかりで、ようやく見つけました。 コロナ禍ですし、あまり美容院には行きたくないし、自分で染めたいので、とても助かってます。もっと取り扱いを増やして欲しいです。

I’ve tried various box dyes for deep black shades, but the Feria 10 Blackest Black is consistently one of my favorites for achieving a multi-dimensional look rather than an "ink-blot" flat color. The consistency of the dye is great—it’s thick enough to not drip everywhere but spreads easily through thick hair. One box was sufficient for my shoulder-length hair, but if yours is longer or very thick, I’d definitely recommend grabbing two. This truly is a deep, jet black. What I appreciate most is the "shimmer" factor Feria is known for. It catches the light beautifully and looks very healthy immediately after dyeing. The included multi-faceted shimmer enhancer conditioner is the highlight of the kit. It leaves my hair feeling incredibly soft and manages the typical post-dye dryness very well. Like most permanent dyes, it does have a strong chemical scent during the process, so make sure you’re in a well-ventilated room. I’ve found that this shade resists fading into that "muddy brown" look longer than other brands, especially if you use sulfate-free shampoo. It definitely can stain your hands and face and ears so if you use petroleum jelly, you can avoid that mess. This is my hair about 4 weeks after dyeing it.

This is a beautiful colour. It is a deep burgundy and that was what I was looking for. The quality is amazing. I have a very bad experience with Garnier Nutrise colour. So, I am happy with this one. Please, keep in mind, the time they state is accurate. I left the colour on my hair for 25 minutes. If you leave it longer, no more colour is getting in your hair, but may damage it! They test it. Also, I didn't wash my hair for 3 days after the colouring. That way, it absorbs the colour deep in to your hair. Then I wash my hair 3 times a week. The colour was still running after the 3 days but only a bit. I couldn't see it on my pink hair towel at all. I hope, it will last a month before my grey hair will show up again. I agree with some girl's comments that you need to follow the instructions. Then you will have a beautiful, shinny and smooth hair. I used Garnier for close to 15 years. This is my first experience with other brand and I am very happy that I switched to L'OREAL PARIS FERIA. Thank you Amazon for the fair price! I ordered 2 more and will order again in the future.
