Great Air-Con for a small flat or office
I have been using this air-con for the past couple of months and I can't believe that I went 5 summers in my current house without having this. We live in a new build coach house with nice new insultation. It makes it nice and cozy in the winter, but boiling in any sort of heat. I decided to bite the bullet and get a portable air-con unit to help control the somtimes 30c temperatures it would reach in the living room and bedroom. As an overall pacakage, I don't think you could get any better than this little unit. It is a great size to be able to fit in a closet during the winter, but can chill a room down really quickly once on. Now, if your goal is for a room to be chilled quietly, none of these portable units are going to be for you. Having the whole unit inside, which half of it usually sits outside the home, makes it quite loud under operation. But if the option was to have this little machine loud or to sit in 30c with a fan blowing around that hot air, I would take this every day of the week. I am also basing this review on the air-con portion only, as I don't use it as a dehumidifier. If you use it in that mode, you will need to instal rubber tubing that will pipe out the water from the unit, but using it for only air-con that isn't needed. I think it stores the small amount of water it creates in a tank that you will empty at the end of the season. I honeslty can't say enough for this device. Most of the negative reviews on here I am not sure if they have read through the manual or are not using it properly, but if you do your research and understand what you are buying this is a great product for the price. TLDR - Great air-con for the size and price. It can be a bit loud while chilling, but the cool air is worth it.

Russell Hobbs Portable 3-in-1 Air Conditioner, Air Cooler, Dehumidifier, 670 W, 1 Litre, Inc
This thing is a lifesaver in the summer, works great as an air conditioner, cooler, and dehumidifier all in one. It's pretty quiet too, though I wouldn't run it overnight. The best part is how easy it is to use - just stick it near a window with the seal kit and you're good to go. The design's really nice looking and made of quality plastics. Delivery was a bit of a nightmare, but that's not the product's fault.

Keeps my office perfect, year-round!
I work from home several days a week and as a result my home office environment is very important to me. As the room is south-facing, it gets super hot during the summer and also my computer is quite high performance and can throw out a lot of heat when working on a task. As such, bought this Portable AC unit to keep the room cool. From 25-26 degrees it can get the room down to 19 (and keep it there) In less than 30 minutes. This has made working in the summer a ton easier. A major plus side to buying this machine was the included Window kit that works with standard UK casement windows (e.g. opening outwards with one hinge on the side). The machine is quite loud, but I do not notice it when I am wearing headphones, and as long as you don't strive for the room to be at a super low temperature, it will eventually become a lot quieter as it reaches temperature. I haven't found its power usage to be unreasonable whilst heating or cooling. In addition, I have not needed to perform any significant maintenance on the machine since getting it.

Does what it says on the tin or box 👍
Really impressed with this item. Looks good compared to other models, nice slim size, and does the job. It’s cools quickly and perfect for most medium sized rooms. The noise is a little loud when used to full capacity but like the instructions say you don’t need to have it set on 18 which costs more to run and in my opinion pointless. As a result I have mine on 22-24 and it’s not to loud, you can sleep with it on. The remote control and sleep mode work well. The only problem I had was fitting the exhaust tube through my window, as my window is not a slider. After investing a further £15 on a window fitting kit I now have the perfect air conditioner and at a decent price on Amazon 👍

It's okay, but had better
This unit is okay, it cools the room but not to our liking, it says 18c on the air con, but we have tested with two thermometers in the room and the lowest it has reached is 20c. Our old air con, took the room down to 15c, which was perfect in the summer to cool the room before heading to bed, knowing you could turn off the aircon and sleep in comfort. With this one, we have to either leave it on, which is very noisy or suffer the fait of the room heating up overnight.

Loud and proud
This is a loud portable air-conditioner/dehumidifier that lets everyone know it's been activated. The window kit is absolutely huge, so you'll likely need to buy a smaller one unless you're fitting to a Velux-style window. Cable is quite short, so think about plug sockets/extenders around your window area. The good points are that this works effectively and when correctly setup, brings the room temp down by a couple of degrees in 30 minutes.

The perfect stress test
The primary function I’ve used with this unit is to cool my greenhouse of a home office. The room is 18sqm and, with one wall nearly totally made of glass, it will comfortably read 8-12°C above the outdoor temperature. As an example, the highest temperature I recorded in the room last summer was 38°C. But right now, where it’s 25°C outside, rather than worrying about dealing with it being 33-37°C in my office, it’s a rather chilly 20.5°C. Even when I came home late the other day to the room at 28°C, the cool air that the unit emits straight away gives immediate respite from the heat even if it did take an hour or so to drop to 21°C. I have also used the heating function which, although I didn’t measure it, was able to heat the room quickly and effectively. Cons? It is what it is, but I can’t pretend that having to dress the window and fit the exhaust out of it isn’t a pain. The exhaust pipe itself is also a little short – this was okay for my window but may be not for others. The unit is also very loud too. I’ve no reason to believe it’s any more or less loud than its competitors, but some may find the noise disturbing. For me, I wear noise cancelling headphones all day so I never actually hear it. I’m very happy with this product though. It was very much worth the £400 I spent on it, even if it is a steep price point.

Single handedly the best portable a/c unit out there
I should point out for reference, I live on a boat, which is obviously more enclosed than an open space, so your mileage may vary. However, in my use case, this is honestly the best thing I've bought this year so far. This is very efficient, it says it draws 1.2kw, but I've measured it at most to be 900w. Again, more enclosed space, but very ideal if you're like me and are limited to power consumption. I didnt use the default window kit, i found it to be far too big for my windows, I simply removed the pane of glass and stuck the exhaust port out of the window, and that works just fine. In terms of noise, it isn't exactly the quietest thing in the world, but compared to the noisy American HVAC's that I'm used to, this is comparatively quiet. It sounds more like a loud fridge, so if you can sleep hearing that you shouldn't have any issues. Absolute bargain if you ask me, it doesn't feel cheap or that they've cut corners, it's a solid product that will no doubt last.
