See Review For Feedback on Sizing (See Update)
I had a surgery that left me with nerve damage in my left foot and leg, and I couldn't tolerate regular shoes due to the numbness and odd sensations I would get. My go-to shoe for a while at work in a business casual environment was a pair of black Crocs clogs, which were loose and comfortable, and easy to take on and off when at my desk. After six weeks I decided enough was enough of looking like s schlub, and asked my RN sister for recommendations.I will say my work wardrobe consists of a lot of dresses with tights, or dress pants. In the summer I have a few pair of Birkenstocks because I like the support and comfort.I went to a local shoe store who carried Alegria and other comparable stylish-yet-functional work shoes. Due to their limited inventory, they only had the very pretty yet not for me designed prints and huge butterfly emblem on the heel (again, not for me), but did have a pair of plain black Eryn wedges that I really liked. I did not buy them there because I wasn't 100% sold on the plainness of them either. I know lady, make up your mind already! Also, the price at the local store was full price at $130, even though this particular chain of stores is a "discount" type store that sells out of season shoes for BOGO prices. Even with a courtesy discount they were over $100, so I decided to think on it and went on Amazon and searched "Alegria Eryn" and the cuuuutest pair popped up as an option. Same shoe as at the store, but the punched out pattern on the toe of this shoe was the perfect balance of feminine, yet simple that I like.THE BEST PART? HALF the price of in store, with a preferable design. So, when it came to sizing I was concerned, as Alegrias are sold with European sizing. From having tried them on in a store, I knew I was a 37 (as I am w/ Birkenstock), but there was not a 37 option in this listing. Neither was there a 7-7.5 which I know is the equivalent American option, but there WAS a 7, so I took a chance and ordered them. And y'all, when I say I checked the tracking and waited and waited anxiously peeking out the door for them to arrive, I am not lying. It was about 6pm and my husband had just checked the porch for them and I was so ticked when they weren't there. Then I just happened to look out again at 6:15 and there they were! It was like Christmas morning!I LOOOOOOVE THEMMMMMM!!! I sometimes need a wide option, but they fit well. Just a tiny bit snug, but I know they will break in. they don't squeak, my high arch is supported, and the numbness in my foot isn't as much of an issue as with my tennies or Doc Martens (my go to winter office work shoes that had been uncomfortable lately). Also, just for good measure to show how much I loved them, I threw the box in the recycling right away. I usually keep packaging around until I'm positive I love something. Anyways, sorry for the rant, but GET THESE! I'm hoping to order the brown ones next month if I can save up some.***Update: I just wanted to add these are VERY slick on ice. They are incredibly stable and grip on other surfaces, but I have to tread lightly outside walking to and from my car.

True to size but ugly
I just reviewed another pair of Alegrias, noting that I read Alegria reviews for size as I seem to require a different size in every single style :( While I love their shoes I do not love all the time I need to spend figuring our what size to order in any particular style. I have several pair of Alegria ranging in size from 8.5 to 10. I typically wear aa 39, or 9-9.5 (Amazons description of size translation is just wrong). In other brands I currently wear a 9.5. In Merrells it fits every time on every pair. With Alegrias I seldom take the size I normally wear, an 8.5 in the Belles, a 10 in their classic clogs, 39 in many styles. I won't wax poetic about the virtues of Alegria. Anyone who knows the brand does not need to hear that someone loveslovesloves them, but sizing information is valuable. I wear a 9-9.5 in most shoes, typically a 39 in Alegria. My feet are average to narrow and I do not have foot problems which require special accommodations. These, were, almost uniquely, true to size. I ordered a 9.5 and they fit perfectly, had good arch support and many of the features Alegria is known for: they all have a removable insole to accommodate orthotics, these also have rocker bottoms and traction treads, all good, and for the most part, expected with Alegrias. It is the first pair I have gotten which is just ugly. I just never would have worn them. It is a hard (not flexible) wedge. They almost remind me of elevator shoes. Everyone's taste is different, but I thought these were really unattractive, look like orthopedic shoes, which *is* what they are, but I go to Alegria because their shoes do not look like something you are wearing for medical treatment. IMO, these do.

Been wearing these for 3 years now
Bought these more than 3 YEARS AGO. Yes you read that correctly +3THREE YEARS of consistent use. I love these shoes so much that I came back here to try to buy another pair. As you can see from my photos the design is starting to get dull and are long over due to be replaced. In my opinion they've held up fairly well considering they are my Go-To" work shoe. My only disappointment is that I can't find the Eryn wedge in the Soiree print in my size anywhere online.

Tight for 8 1/2 foot. If you’re an 8 you’ll do fine
Bought these for work. Seller was excellent. Super fast shipping. WS able to wear to work on my next shift. I wear 81/2 running shoes. These are a tight fit. Got a 38. I have another pr of same brand in 39 and they are too loose but have a strap. Hopefully these will stretch. Color is really nice. Blingie. Wearing thinner compression socks and this has helped.

Love them, just a little narrower in the toe box than other Alegrias
I am a nursing student and have a few pairs of Alegria shoes. I really like these. They are comfortable, and my back and legs weren't aching at the end of my clinical shifts this week. The only slight negative is that my feet are a little wide, flat arches, and bunions, so the toe box feels a little snug compared to my other Alegria shoes.

Third time is a charm.
I have purchased these shoes three times and I've sent back two pairs. I wear a size 7 , originally ordered a size 36 because reviews said they ran large, and I've had prior experience with alergia shoes running larger as well. The 36s were too small. So I ordered a size 37 they were not only marred and defective, but also way too large; I could literally step out of them. Well after looking and trying other shoes I still prefered the style of these so in one last attempt ordered this style again and I am glad I did. Third pair also a 37 fits as a size 37 should. These shoes are comfortable and sleek and just what I was looking for. The great thing about Amazon is being able to return or exchange things that don't work properly.

Good quality-not the best fit.
This is just okay. I tried some one in a store and thought they'd be great but it's either taking way longer to break them in, or these just aren't quite the right fit. I can't wear them all day long without some discomfort by the end of the day. For the price though, the quality is superb!
