Fantastic helmet. Great job Anovos!
I absolutely love this helmet from Anovos. I don't particularly understand the flak this helmet gets, as it's pretty much spot on accurate, and a great costume piece.. If you want something heavy, buy a motorcycle helmet?I was lucky in that I didn't get any major gaps in between the pieces on the two helmets I purchased. The lenses are indeed a little difficult to see through, but that's to be expected with a bubble lens. That being said, I purchased it on sale at $160 which was in my opinion the fair price for this piece. Anything over $200 is pushing it.I ended up doing a custom FN-2187 "bloody" style with one of them. I would absolutely recommend this helmet.

Very Nice!
Very comfortable and even though the tint makes it hard to use at night, it works great in properly lit areas. Easy to adjust and move around with it on.

looks brilliant. Wore it snowboarding
Massive, looks brilliant. Wore it snowboarding, everyone staring, lift operators give me fistbumps and high 5s, kids asked me for photos. Obviously the view is restricted out the front but I was experienced enough to cope

Great bucket, slightly pricey
Recently purcheased the First Order helmet after completing the Anovos A New Hope original trilogy stormtrooper kit. Compare to that helmet, this hard hat / bike helmet rigging is greatly improved, allowing for adjustment via the knob in the rear and is actually mounted with snap-in tabs to the helmet vs. just taped in. The injected molded plastic is also heavier than the ANH vacuum formed, coupled with all peices mounted solidly it feels much higher quality and ready to wear out of the box.Unlike another reviewer I saw no evidence of any glue residue, and all seams lined up great with little to no gap except the top of the hole for the vocoder. As others have mentioned, it's a silver paint and does not look like a machine polished aluminum.Overall this is a great helmet, would recommend as a stand-alone for a costume, display, or for the soon-to be released Anovos standard first order kit which doesn't include a helmet.

Nice piece, not what I expected though.
Nice piece... But definitely not worth the price you have too pay..... If interested I recommend the two piece FO helmet because it's literally the same thing. The difference between this one and the two piece is this one isn't two piece.

My First and Last purchase from ANOVOS.
Before we get started- I had already placed this review for another seller of whom was selling the ANOVOS helmet- so if you've already seen that, I apologize, but I feel obligated to put my two cents in here, as there are customers also purchasing the helmet here.Yes, the Helmet is very pretty.Yes, I understand that it was created from digital scans of the actual Screen used Helmet. Now, bearing that in mind, what I want to warn you about is the quality. To most viewers, I can only imagine that their first impressions of such a helmet is that it is visually stunning. However, post that- initial shock of seeing this helmet, under closer inspection- this product falls drastically short of all expectations.Anovos has stated that they inspect all of their products for Quality Control before shipping them out- and to that, I will have to call them out on either very low standards of quality, or not inspecting the product altogether. The helmet, assembled in multiple pieces, had noticeable gaps in between where the plastic had been glued together, superficial scratches on the surface of the helmet, insufficiently sized pieces of plastic above the visor piece, and excess plastic of what I can only assume to be negligently left on from where it was pulled from the mold. This helmet is light. Very, very light. Light as in "It will shatter if it falls from a height greater than 6 inches", light.Granted, the lightweight element of this helmet would be good for trooping, however, I would in no means risk taking this out of your home, or even out of its display case for that matter. The whole piece feels as if it were cheaply made with B-Grade materials. It is not comfortable to wear. The inside helmet suspension rig of which they supply- does not work. The suspension rig is nearly free-hanging within the helmet itself, meaning that if you nod, the whole helmet will shift atop your head independent from your movement. If you're looking through your visor, the slightest of head-movements will leave you looking at the inside of your bucket. In order to make this piece comfortable, you'd probably have to gut the provided suspension rig and create your own system anyhow. If you were previously planning on installing electronics within this piece, such as a microphone or fan, I can surely say that the helmet will not be able to structurally support it, despite the excess of room of which should allow for that type of modification. This piece is over-priced. Ridiculously over-priced, and in no way reflective of the quality of this product. The helmet feels like it should be in the Hasbro Section of your local toy-store, but even Hasbro accounts for product durability...If you've never purchased a prop before, or if you just plan to keep this up as a display piece, sealing behind a glass window- not to be touched, then this piece is something you may wish to consider purchasing. However, if you've collected props before, wish to troop with this helmet, or are going to handle it in any capacity- I would recommend waiting for a higher quality product- or possibly a cheaper product. My overall impressions are that this is not at all worth the price... especially when the quality is not reflected in the $250 price tag associate with it.

Nice but too expensive for what you get.
It's a nice replica and my son really enjoys it but I think it was over priced. $75 would be worth it.
