This kids’ plastic fruits and vegetables set is fantastic. There’s a great variety included, and the quality really stands out. The pieces are bright, well-sized, and made from sturdy, good-quality plastic with no unpleasant smell at all. I especially love the details — not just simple two-piece items, but things like banana peels, and even the inside of fruits and vegetables is well designed, which is quite rare in similar sets. It makes play much more realistic and engaging for kids. For such a large set, the price is excellent. Highly recommended for pretend play and learning.

I purchased this kit for my use as speech language pathologist, and I am SO impressed. For years now, I've used the very limited set offered from Melissa and Doug. While those are wonderfully made, I always wished we had more variety in the fruits/vegetables in the kit. Once the velcro began to wear out on our wooden foods, I purchased this. It is easy to clean off due to being made of plastic. The details on it are so cool (e.g. the egg with a shell you peel first; the peelable banana; the texture and print inside the orange), and the kids absolutely love it. Some of the pieces are little, so I would supervise kids under 3. GREAT kit. Worth the price.

Terrific product! I didn’t find any choke pieces for kids under 3 unless the two clips that belt the lid on the basket, love the details: eggs r wet it’s shells yo crack, peas in pea pod, banana that peels snd much more. My 28mo old grandchild was intrigued. Know she’ll love it even more as sad he gets a bit older, Thank you!

My littles along with any visiting kiddos love this set. I love that they can pretend cut. Great for hand and eye coordination along with making them feel grown. Great heavy plastic material with very bright and consistent coloring. The set has a good variety of foods as well. Lots of playtime with these! Great value!

My 2 1/2 year old grandson loved this. Well made and realistic pieces. It was a hit on Christmas 🎄

These fruits and veggies are great for toddlers, my daughter is 2 and I spent hours looking at all types of expensive or fancy looking toy sets. You don't need fancy and expensive they just need you to model play for them after going through the assortment my daughter started calling out the colors and types on her own after calling them cute she than cuts them apart with the plastic knifes provided or with her bare hands. There are no sharp edges, the Velcro does what it should and hasn't shown any signs of peeling at all even after a hundred cuts and pulls. My only qualm is I wish there were a little more fruits and veggies instead of the cutting boards because they are small and so inconvenient for trying to cut stuff on because they slide my daughter doesn't play with them at all. Other than that these are great!
