Full size L bend bar end for maximum ergonomics when touring and on fitness bikes. The re-engineered bar end has improved ergonomics, function and a higher quality feel. The new GP5 features an installation friendly clamping system (patent pending) _ as do all Ergon bar end models. This makes fitting extremely simple.

Improved ergonomics for long rides
On long rides (I routinely ride over 60 miles), it's important to have different grips to relieve pressure on your hands and wrists. The GP5s provide 2 additional grips (close to the handlebar with a 90 degree twist, and at the top of the bar ends with around a 60 degree twist) which really helps.I've used lots of different styles of bar ends, but these integrated bar ends are the best - the material is softer and has better grip than the metal bars, and the angle is perfect for me.1 star off, though, because the grips I received were short. Not sure if this was an Amazon mistake or if the "Large" means something different. But I have big hands and couldn't fit my hand on the grip. I ended up putting the integrated bar ends on the grip bodies from my older Ergon Gp2s.

More palm ergonomic with extension ends handlebar bike grips, Made in Germany
What was my bad surprise when the online merchant sent me two different sizes of handlebar grips. I ordered L-size, while received one S-size and one L-size. Returning the mismatched merchandise. Otherwise, Ergo GP5 grips are very ergonomic, and L-size vs. S-size is with more and thicker palm support, also longer bike handlebar coverage than the smaller. Replacing the not-grippy, not-ergonomic Bontrager brand grips of my Trek 7.2FX hybrid bike.

Left and Right handlebars of different sizes
I bought this product and when I got home, the left handlebar was large and the left handlebar was short, as you can see in the image. He returned it and asked for a replacement describing the problem. When the second shipment arrived, another product arrived exactly the same, that is, a long-size left and a short-sized right. I am returning it too.Can someone tell me if this makes sense? Why would anyone want different sized handlebars? : |

Great comfort and the bar ends help protect my hands mountainbiking.
I like to use the bar ends on uphills to give my hands a break from downhills. I'm 65 so it's important for me to use multiple hand positions so that I can last through a 3 hour plus ride. Also, the curvature helps to protect my knuckles from hitting hard objects like hard bushes and branches..

Works great
The grips on my Electra Super Moto 8i with the Nexus 8 speed hub from the factory were terrible. These made a huge improvement. If I am being honest though, the ones with out the side grips would be fine also. I don't find myself using them much. Looks like a bull now!

The curved upper can catch your hand inside when you go to lift your arm. Allow time to adjust.
Love these grips on my bike. I tour and now I can finally sit up. My back loves them too! So much better for my posture and I can be on the bike all day long in comfort!

For bike with grip shift
Unfortunately, not correct product for my bike, this is made for bikes with grip shifter Not trigger shift. Since it seems like big hassle to return, will keep for this riding season as, parts have been hard to come by. The positive is adds different grip position to relieve back &/or hand numbness.

Disappointed. I purchased it in order to relieve hand ...
Disappointed. I purchased it in order to relieve hand pain / numbness. This is the smallest of the large GP5 grips It only fits three of my fingers on the grip. I also found there is no comfort with this. Next, not a good feeling material. I had hoped the extension would allow me to have a higher position to grip in order to sit up and the range of adjustment did not really allow for this. The grip is secured well and did not shift around.

Bye Bye numbness, really nice grips.
I really great design. It will take you a couple of rides to get the right position, your aiming to keep you hand and forearm straight to keep pressure off the nerve.I can go 20 plus miles now without numbness to my fingers and when it comes its not as bad as it was. The great thing is I can shift to the black vertical grips for a short while to return the circulation. Really comfortable. The negative is the price, very expensive but you get what you pay for these are comfortable, well designed, sturdy grips that do the job of reducing numbness hence enhancing your ride experience.Because of the price I did take out the amazon accidental damage insurance, it was only a couple of quid extra and they will replace the item if damaged for up to 3 years.

Looks ok but missing a nut
The item looks ok but missing a nut so cannot affix it to the handlebar, probably a result of the packaging being a bit weird and having one of the bar ends hanging out.My other complaint would be that the handlebar section of the grips is quite a lot narrower than it looks in the picture (I had the large size)

Fate attenzione a quale modello comprate!
