I use shampoo to clean my scalp and break up sebum. I only wash 2 or 3 times per week. I look for sulfates to break up the oils and sebum. SLES is the chief bubble-maker that helps to drive the shampoo through my thick hair so it easily penetrates down to the scalp where it can clean.When done, I rinse out the shampoo, then I use a good conditioner and work it in from mid hair to the ends. I do not condition close to the scalp. I leave the conditioner on 3-4 minutes, then rinse thoroughly. Works like a charm.What I like about this shampoo is that it is one of the few that breaks the surface tension of the product and gets down to my scalp quickly without a lot of effort on my part. It also smells good. Good lather makes it easy to massage the shampoo into the scalp and get it clean.Some shampoos are so thick and gloppy, or so moisturizing, that they sit on top of my fairly thick hair and I struggle to get it down to the scalp to massage it in.I'm old and no longer color my hair. I do not look to shampoo for moisture. I want shampoo for cleaning. Moisture comes from the conditioner and/or leave-in conditioners and other treatments. Once I learned that philosophy, it saved a lot of waste on product.If you don't have curly/wavy/kinky hair, a moisturizing shampoo is probably too heavy for you, even if your hair is thick and full. It will just weigh your hair down more quickly and you'll be using more product in the long run.I will try other shampoos when this runs out. I really don't have a lot of brand loyalty to most hair care products and am willing to try different ones just to see how they work. This will get a spot in the rotation every now and then, because I do like it and it has worked well for me.

This is a pricey set for children to get ahold of, I keep it up on the highest shelf of my bathroom but they still climb to reach it. Considering I have to BEG my teenage boy to wash his hair, it says a lot that he will hunt for this product in the bathroom. He likes the smell, and I do too, for my own hair and frankly, for his. I am on my second set and decided to upgrade to the big bottles with a pump so I can share without panic.I wash my hair every 3 days, it's fine and long, lightened several times. I only use salon products, and lately I only use this. I do a weekly Olaplex 1 and 3 and rinse with these, my hair is baby soft, so soft that it looks untouched by bleach. I have less hair fall in the shower, I have shiny strands that look and feel so nice I can't stop touching my hair.One thing: I have a natural wave in my hair, but these are so conditioning that they kind of remove the wave texture instead of adding to it.

I have very fine blonde hair. Last year the stylist I went to left product on my hair too long and it severely damaged it. I’ve tried many shampoos and other Kenra products in an effort to help manage my hair as it grows out. I tried Sun Beach!! I cannot believe how great my hair feels and looks !!! I am so happy !! If you are in the same situation try this shampoo. It works !! Seriously plus it has a fabulous smell. Whether you are a blonde or brunette you’ll love it!

When I opened the package the cap was loose and I lost half the product in the plastic bag it was in. I was not happy. I do not want to return the product as I do like it very much. Just wanted to let you know about the leakage. Thank you for your time.

I love the shampoo and conditioner. It makes my hair feel so healthy. It smells amazing. The only downfall is the bottles are so small their almost travel size and not worth the money.

I ordered this after trying a salon sample. It makes my hair super dry and doesn't help smooth at all. I don't think this is the real deal sadly

This is the best smelling stuff ever. For a texture due- it does not leave my hair feeling dry or coarse like other kinds. My hair feels so nice.

Best product for oily hair, I love the conditioner because it makes my hair feel soft like silk after spending a whole day at the beach.
