4ft long, not 6ft
I thought they sent the wrong thing since this is called a 6 footer. After it showed up I started looking closer at online and turns out, the product dimensions are 48 x 1.63 x 1.25 inches (which is what I got) and the 6 ft detail is listed as "COLOR" ..... pretty screwy to say the least. I like this FOUR footer better than other similar items, but it's a bit disappointing to think I'm getting a 6ft long strip and it turns out to be only 4ft. 20 amp rating is more important than length (can't find anything 20 amp longer) .... just read carefully when you buy. 4 starts only because it's not 6ft like the description says.

Great workbench power strip
I put this on the wall behind my lathe, I can now plug in all my assorted electrical do-dads. The plugs are well spaced so power bricks don't interfere with each other. 12 ga wiring handles bigger tools just fine. It just works.

Bad Brackets
Mounting brackets don't hold the strip in place - causes to strip to constantly fall out.

Poor Quality Control - Unusable is Useless
I purchased my first power strip On December 29th, 2018. It costs $91.38. The strip was dead on arrival. I decided to troubleshoot and found that the terminal lugs that should have been connected to the tabs on the circuit breaker were disconnected. I removed the circuit breaker and found that the wires were approximately 1/2 inch too short to attach to the circuit breaker even when fully seated. I opened the strip enough to work the wires and create a little bit of slack to attached to the circuit breaker. Reassembled the unit and it was good to go. Purchased my second strip on April 3, 2025 for $172.22, an 88% price increase in 6 years. It was also dead on arrival. Same problem and resolution as last time. Also, both end caps were cracked. Cosmetic only so I will live with it. I repaired both strips versus returned because: Probability is that I would just get another defective strip; finding the right box (original unusable) and hassling the return process would involve more cost and time than the 15 minutes required to repair; I am a retired, federally licensed electronics technician. If I can repair an air search Radar, I can repair an AC power strip. The strip came with three mounting clips and ONE screw in a sealed bag. Literature says three screws supplied. The single screw was slotted. WHO still uses slotted screws? The strip is very rugged all aluminum body, uses AWG 12 wire, and could have gotten 5 stars, but the quality control is poor, and unusable on receipt actually rated a zero.

20 Amp plug prongs.
The plug is only for a 20 amp outlet. Make sure you have that kind of outlet to plug it in.
