These work fine
Ive had 3d capability for over a year and just hadnt used it till I watched a movie at a friends house. I finally got the glasses from sony because I did not know if others were compatible with sony tv and bluray player. These work just fine but they are kind of big and a little pricey, we watched a one hour documentary just to test them out and they didnt bother me or my wife at all. I am going to order and try the cheaper lighter ones to see if they work too and if so I will get a few more of those for guests.

Like beauty the Sony TDG-BR250/B verses these glasses is in the eye of the beholder
I've been using these 3D glasses (BR100/B) and the Sony TDG-BR250/B for around six weeks (late April - mid June 2011). The bottom line is like beauty choosing between the BR100 and BR250 really is in they eye and face of the beholder. While I very much prefer the BR250 to the BR100, my Son (who wears glasses) finds the BR100 to be the ones he wants to wear for both gaming and watching TV.Both the BR250 and BR100 work well with our Comcast 3D DVR and our Sony PS3 (PS2 backward compatible version). We use them with OnDemand movies, ESPN-3D, 3D HDTV shows, 3D games, and 3D Blu-Ray movies. They work equally well from a technical perspective and the real differences (from our perspective) is in the feel and level of green. While my Son pushes us to be green whenever possible, he prefers the non-green BR100 over the rechargeable BR250 because the BR100 fit and feel better on his face. As he wears glasses (which I don't), he leans towards the larger and heavier BR100 over the lighter weight and smaller BR250. I can't blame him in preferring the non-green glasses. Unfortunately, Sony made him decided between comfort and being green. I'm not sure why they didn't go rechargeable for both sets of glasses. From my perspective, though, the BR250 is a win, win pair of glasses. I find them comfortable (though I'll admit I do like the BR100 nose piece over the BR250), they are green, and cost less than the BR100. The BR1000 cost me $124.95, while i was able to get the BR250 for $69.95.From a technical perspective, you can't go wrong buying either one. Your choice comes does to the one that feels best (or in the case of buying online - the one you think will feel better). Of course, you could buy both and return the one you don't like OR keep them both for when a friend drops by for an evening of 3D watching (TV or movies) or 3D gaming. In the end, I'm giving the Sony TDG-BR250/B a 5 out of 5 stars and the BR100 a 4 out of 5. Why? The bottom line is green is the wave we should follow, when possible and the Sony TDG-BR250/B are greener than the BR100, by far.

Works Perfectly
When I first connected the 3D transmitter to the TV and tried watching a 3D Blu-ray, I encountered a few break-ups of the 3D experience. It was then that I discovered I had the transmitter pointing toward the TV and not toward me. Once that was corrected, the break-ups stopped. I'm actually surprised they managed to work as well as they did before I discovered my problem. The glasses shut-off automatically only when there is no 3D signal. That's done to save batteries. As long as you're watching a 3D feature, the glasses continue operating without any problems at all.

Probably better to invest a little more for better quality
Works ok but battery needs frequent charging. One of the pair of glasses has stopped working within couple of years, in spite of hardly being used

These are very comfortable and easy to use. They make 3-D come right at you with clarity. The packaging was great and the shipping fast. I'm up to 3 now and hoping to eventually have at least 4. Would recommend.

SONY 3D TV's require Specific "3D Model Glasses" for their TV's
My new Sony 55" 3D TV only came with 2 pair of active 3D glasses - I thought these glasses would be a good choice to have a few extra pair available for children & grandchildren when they come for a visit. These glasses would not work with our Sony TV even though the TV does have the 3D transmitter and require active 3D glasses; the required 3D glasses need to be TV model specific and made specifically for the TV you purchased. Sony has different glasses for each model. YIKES! Had to return the glasses but did open one pack prior to returning and they seem big and bulky - not to mention heavy. I am sure they are well built but wearing them for a 2 hour movie may be a little tiresome. Be sure to order glasses made specifically for your make and model of Sony. I did contact Sony about the glasses and they instructed me on which glasses to purchase. I contacted the seller and they had no issues taking the glasses back with no additional charge and free return shipping. I ordered the correct glasses for our make and model and the new glasses work great - plus they are very lightweight and adjust to smaller children's heads.

Battery durability
Sony TDG-BR100 Adult Size 3D Active Glasses, BlackPurchased 3 pairs of Sony 3D glasses.Glasses shut off automatically after 5 to 10 minutes so you have to continuously recheck and restart.Other than that problem with all 3 pairs they seem to be good, not too uncompfortable.
