Best Absorbing Pads
The GLAD-activated carbon training pads are worth every penny! These pads absorb the smallest amount of liquid to the most significant amount, which includes a puppy leaving feces on it. Our dog completely saturated a pad while we were away and tore it apart. However, the pee remained inside the pad and did not spread everywhere. On an average day, a pad can absorb two to three urine breaks from our dog, and it does not leave any smells. By the way, he is a Bordoodle and is relatively large for his age. They also work great for a guinea pig cage.

gray side up, black side down
The pictures all show the product upside down. The black side goes down and the gray side goes up. I feel sorry for the people who don't read the fine print ;)* Anyway its a pretty good product. It absorbs quite a lot of liquid and the charcoal really does a great job of deodorizing the urine. I bought these for an elderly incontinent cat who could no longer strong enough to clamber into and out of the cat litter box. Kitty stays nice and dry and clean when laying on these.

Great Puppy Pads!
I can’t honestly comment on whether these dissipate odors any better than other pads I’ve used because we change them often, but I can say they are way more absorbent than other pads we’ve purchased. No more leaking through! There are other pads that claim to do this and are even more expensive, and with this being a brand-name, I feel you can’t go wrong. Love these pads!

Best potty pads that I've tried!
I ordered a pack of these over a year ago and didn't feel like it was important to leave a review, but also because it took me almost a year to use the package I had purchased! My little shih tzu is housebroken, but I always leave out pee pads just in case I am in expectantly working late. It's not fair to my pup to make her hold it on those days that I didn't know ahead of time that I was going to have to stay at work for a couple of extra hours and I refuse to put her in a crate when I'm not home! Also, living in the Midwest, winters get cold and it can be hard on a little dogs feet to be out in the freezing cold and sorry, I refuse to put little boots on a dog! A winter sweater, but no boots! So, anyway, a year ago I ordered these, it took a long time to use the whole bag, but once I did, I was out at one of the larger home improvement stores and just grabbed a large bag of their pads and started using them. Pee pads are all the same right?Well actually no, they are not at all the same! With the brand that I purchased, I'd put them down and if I came home and saw that my dog had used one, when I'd go to pick it up to dispose of it, there is always always a wet spot on the floor! My dog is about 8lbs, she is incapable of peeing out more than possibly 1/16th of a cup of urine when she needs to go and I'm being generous in the amount of urine that she would possibly go at one time, yet these pee pads that I purchased from the home improvement store ( that were 3 dollars more than this bag of glad brand bags mind you) have not even been able to hold that amount of urine and I always need to mop the floor under the pad once I get home on top of having to toss out the pad!On top of the disappointing performance of the store brand for my dog, I have now rescued a lion head bunny. Since adopting her, I have discovered that you cannot put normal rabbit bedding down in her cage, anything you leave is going to stick to their long hair!I was at a lose as to what to do until another lion head owner suggested that I use pee pads to line my bunnies cage! An ingenious suggestion that has kept my bunny's hair free of bedding debris, but once again, lifting out the pee pads is a disgusting mess! They wind up being soaked with urine and wet underneath the pee pads as well!So tonight I threw in the towel on this other brand of pee pads and I just placed an order for another bag of the glad pee pads! They work incredibly well, not once did urine ever soak through the pad and onto the floor when using for my dog, I'm just hoping they work just as well in my rabbits cage!I will keep you all posted if they do or not, but as far as using for my pup, they are the most absorbent pads that I have ever used and will continue to order these and only these from now on!I should known that since they are made by glad, they were going to work better than any others! No one paid me or gave me any promotional incentive to give this review, this is my honest opinion and I cannot recommend these any more highly than what I have said already! No, pee pads are not all the same and the expensive ones that come from reputable stores do not work better than these!Trust the Glad brand pads! They work better than any brand out there!

Black Charcoal Puppy Pads Are Great!
We got a pup during COVID and indoor peeing was a challenge. We found this product helped our pup and we were able to move the tolieting outside. One issue, please avoid turning the pad over on a carpet or floor as there is some charcoal leakage.Again, we keep some in the house for accidents or visiting pets.

Odor free, good absorbency, but it does not attract my puppy
Maybe my puppy is getting used to her thin blue pads so she prefers to pee on the old one most of the time, but overall this is a very good pee pads. With this price, I was surprised by the quality. High Absorbency, odor free and it holds the liquid very well.

Best pee pads out there, PERIOD!!!
Best pads out there PERIOD, and I've used A LOT! I don't use any other brand or pad ever since trying these awhile back, they work so well with absorbing the pee unlike other brands that it just sits at the top of the pad and spreads triple the size, with these ones when they pee the pad absorbs it and you can hardly see where they went, and my pups prefer these ones

These are GOOD
These are good enough. I like that they are black and when my dog pees, it isn't a yellow stain. They do occasionally leak though. NOT all the time. I purchased a rubber mat to put under because I have wood floors and didnt want to take the risk of my floor messing up. I would keep buying these if they absorbed odor. I don't feel as though they absorb any odor and im a psycho with odors. I just bought the Hartz brand and those DO absorb odors well.

Okay
These do work but the pee does not absorb as fast as other pads. My puppy steps in his pee puddle every time he goes and with the amazon basics he doesn't get wet feet with these he tracks little pee prints all over. These hold a lot, they smell a bit less because of the charcoal but the are slow absorption (like 15-30 seconds for full absorption). I like the Basics heavy duty better, I get the extra large now.

DID I GET A DEFECTED BATCH???
I either got a defective pack or this product is the biggest scam. I thought with the product coming from GLAD this would be a high-quality item. a FEW pads have acted the way they are supposed to but others when I lift up there is 10X more pee laying under the plastic than on the tiny little bit in the middle of the pad. I DO NOT RECOMMEND this item from GLAD. How do I return and get my money back. Any other pad is much better quality, and this includes Dollar Stores.

Leaks, doesn’t absorb, absolutely horrible pee pad!! Where’s the minus star!!
This product doesn’t deserve a 1 star but there is no negatives. I am horribly disappointed in these pee pads, and I wish I had saved the box to return them!! I bought these for my elderly cat and they leak. I don’t mean a little bit, I mean the urine either soaks through or goes off on the floor. Even replacing them after each pee, a paper towel is more absorbent than these!! I tried doubling them up, but it did no better. I have tried several kinds of pee pads and these are by far the absolute worst in every way. What a waste of almost $50!! The only thing that I would say is that they are a good size, but really, at this point it just doesn’t even matter.UPDATE: puppy pad - we just got a chihuahua puppy and these pads work very well for her. She is able to do her business on these several tomes and the pads hold up well. So, while these were horrible (really, really awful!) for my elderly cat, they seem to work great with our puppy 🤷♀️ Maybe it’s the quantity of urine or the type, I’m not sure... regardless, won’t buy again as I found a 150 box of pee pads at Walmart (Canada) for $28 so we’re going with them moving forward.

Absorb better than most other brands.
The media could not be loaded. I've used so many different brands, and my Dog is 17 years old. She continued to use them even when inside my unit. She stands at the door and goes outside. They absorb better(faster) than any other brand I've used, but yes it's spills over if she pees right at the edge.
