Ultra soft, ultra light, ultra warm
Best winter jacket - gave as a Christmas gift to my dad and he is super happy with it!

Good piece of gear.
I bought this to put through it’s paces doing outdoor activities. I usually try to take things up a notch or two, so I need gear that I can count on. This jacket has been nice addition to my outdoor gear. Worn on its own, or even better, under a shell, and this jacket is pretty warm. I even wore it fat biking this winter in the rain, and the dwr coating performed admirably. I got this at a nice discount, so I’m especially pleased. I may purchase more Eddie Bauer gear in the future. I definitely recommend this jacket if you want a down jacket but like me, aren’t willing to spend hundreds of dollars. I’m not trying to climb K2. lol

Light weight but warm, great fitting jacket
True to size. Good quality down coat at a reasonable price point. I’ll probably get another one for backup!

Very light weight and warm enough
This fits well and looks good. I was surprised at how light it was, but it provides moderate warmth at around 50 - 60 degrees, and with a sweater underneath, it's ok at cooler temperatures. The two outside pockets have zippers and I wish there was a zippered inside pocket. It holds its shape well.

Finally found one that fits....
Ordered a couple of other puffer style jackets in large size and they all were too tight in the body. (5"10" and 200 lbs). Decided to try this one and the fit is absolutely perfect. It is on the light side and I haven't tried it in the rain yet, but the warmth vs. the light weight is impressive. I bought the dark smoke and it is kind of a dark grayish, dark blueish, dark greenish color. Hard to define but I like it and it's a keeper.

Very pleased with this as my first down jacket
This is my first 'puffy' down jacket and I have been very pleased with it overall. I live in Arizona so most people would be surprised to think we would even need a down jacket here, but this is really great for the cool mornings and evening walks around the community. It packs down really small and even comes with a small bag for storing it, which comes in handy if you want to throw this jacket in a messenger bag or small backpack. I love the feel of the jacket overall - it feels like you're being hugged by a nice down sleeping bag all the time. its amazing that its not TOO hot though either - it really seems to breath well. There are times when I've worn it around my office at work without even recalling that I was still wearing it - but its just that comfortable overall. As a camper, I also bring this on car camping type trips for lounging around in the evenings and at meals. Considering that the outer material is very thin I'm hesitant to wear it hiking or backpacking because I'm afraid it would easily rip. I also avoid wearing it around a campfire as a small tinder would easily burn a hole in the jacket and I don't want to risk it getting ruined like that. Great jacket from a trusted vendor!

Used as a liner and on cool, not freezing, days
Great jacket. I tried three similar designs. This one looked the best and has actual fill. It will not keep you warm without other protection below about 35F. If it's super wet or windy, use another coat over this one.

This is a solid hiking jacket
The price is great for 650 fill power down jacket that weighs almost nothing and packs down to... almost nothing. The fit is perfect for moderate activity and it looks good when you wear it. Keep in mind that this isn't the toughest jacket material, so I wouldn't take it on anything requiring heavier ripstop material, because this probably won't perform. However, hiking and even ultralight backpacking are exactly where it will excel.

Ligera pero abrigadora
Es una chamarra bonita que es muy ligera pero abrigadora, la puedes llevar a caminatas y guardar fácilmente porque no es bultosa, también la puedes usar debajo otra chamarra para clima extremo.
