How many would I need to fill a 7ft bean bag?

i am 8 bags in and NOT even close to enough for a 7 foot bean bag. It is going to cost me so much. Look for a beanbag already stuffed.

If I use it to add to my dog bed, what happens when I take the cover off to launder it?

It's an easy process... and yes, the potential for making a mess is inherent to the process, but try this: Take the largest trash bag you can find and place it over the dog bed, then put the whole of the dog bed into the trash bag, preferably with the opening of the dog bed at the bottom of the trash bag. Then empty the dog bed's stuffing *into* the trash bag, eventually turning the dog bed inside out to get rid of all the foam from the dog bed. You should then be able to wash the bed cover. Just reverse the process once the dog bed is clean & dry. Put the trash bag into the dog bed and empty the foam filling back into the dog bed. Not complicated. Will only take 10 minutes or so to empty and then refill the dog bed. Enjoy.

My sofa cushions are filled with heavy filling that flattens in the middle with bunched up edges. Would this be a good replacement?

I find shredded memory foam is best in pillows of all sizes because they can be puffed up easily by hand or by tossing the pillows in the drier for 5 to 10 minutes. I think shredded memory foam would be better for a couch back. For the seat I’d get a sized cushion insert or two, whatever will fit. You could add shredded foam if there is any space left.

About how many standard 18" x 18" throw pillows will this fill? Thank you!

I bought a 2.5 lb bag and it filled 2 18x18 pillows so this will probably fill 3 really filled or 4 filled with a good amount not too stuffed.

Far better than other pillow stuffing!

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I have used this foam for a large, long body pillow - which is not really a body pillow, but a long decorative pillow. I wanted a stuffing that wouldn't compact, that would be comfy enough to sit against, and would not 'run' from corners - this fits all those perimeters! Goodbye feathers, goodbye polyfil! I just bought more for another large pillow.

Beanbag Problem Fixed!

I agonised over which was the right filling to fix a very floppy bean bag and if it would even work along with how much filling I needed. The bag is filled with the traditional beans.I purchased this 5lb bag and it was the perfect amount. I added the whole bag of it to the beans and shook it up. End result is a bean bag just like new.The filling does not smell. Make sure you open it into a large box and wait for it to poof up before putting it in.Perfect solution!

Good for refluffing a beanbag chair but a little pricey

Purchased this to refluff my grandchild's toddler sized beanbag chair. We've had the chair for a year and it was pretty flat. It took almost all of the 5 lbs. of filling to return it to it's previous shape with a little left to refluff the chair again in the future. The process was quick and not that messy. The chair is again super soft and my grandchild is super happy. I would definitely buy this again even though the cost is a little pricey.

Cozy new bed

This is perfect for the dog bed, took a few days for it to puff out but filled the bed completely (bed for 40 lb dog) slightly smell but was fine in 24 hours. Dog is very happy.

Inconsistency in the cut sizes makes this material lumpy so if it's used to fill something with a thick fabric it should be okay but for pillows it's not that great. Material is very rubberized takes a long time to expand.
