I’m one of the many I’m sure that cannot tolerate a face mask. I normally wear a shield but still get looks and comments about that. Well I figured why not try these. Good price and the vent is the key thing here. Now they would have gotten 5 stars if the instructions were a bit better for installing the vent but, now I can actually tolerate wearing a mask for longer. The main issue is I have severe sinus issues and panic/anxiety so trying to breath through a mask is very hard for me. But these make it so I can comply now and they look good. I only got them for the camp and flag print and gave the other away. But these are so much better then anything else I’ve tried.

Love that this isn't so close to my face that when i breathe heavy, it doesn't suck in my mouth. It doesn't pull on my ears, and the strap behind my neck doesn't interfere with having my hair down. Came with alot of filters and replaceable vents.

These are good for those want to filter out pollutions, like doing carpentry, working in dusty area, but it doesn't help stop the spread of COVID-19, because the virus is much smaller that the pores. Current solution to stop the spread is to catch your own water droplets from going far, and infecting others. To do that, you'll want to close up the vent holes with tape.The fabric itself is a mesh, inserting the air outlet vents/valves takes a little finessing, but no but deal once you get used to it. You just pop the outer part through the fabric and filter, then screw down the inner plastic locking thing clockwise.* The nose part of the mask bulges out quite a bit, this mask is probably good for people with big nose that protrude forward.The ear straps are very useful for holding up the mask.To get the chemical smell out; I highly recommend washing all the fabric of the mask in mild detergent or Dr.Browners soap and drying it over night (not the gray/white filters)For maximum effectiveness, leave the activated charcoal filters in a sealed bag,or jar, because they will absorb any pollutants and degrade over time.Edit/Update:I've learned that with use the Bosch circular screw on vents can come off from the printed thin stretchy fabric that's on the outside, but it settings to the inside filter that's made of stiffer thicker material. So if you put in away in your bag, check to make sure that the vents are still attached to the fabric before use.

I assumed by the picture they came (4) complete. WRONG, I had to put the valve in and try to match up the filter with the holes for the valve. After trying for over an hour to get it completed I was so frustrated and angry Iended up throwing the whole thing in the trash. Never have I been threw such crap trying to put somethingtogether. It really was a shame because I really liked the masks. Oh well live and learn...I guess I need to read the fineprint. By the way there was no directions on how to do it. Very upsetting. L.Lee

All but one of your pictures are deceptive I love the material and the valves was looking for one without the back band around my neck as I need to change back and forth between the styles to give my ears and or my neck a break as I have to ware one for 60+ hours a week for my job right now

do not let the american flag fool you; these are cheaply made chinese junk. nothing lines up . the filter caps do not lock and the instructions , oh did I mention there are no meaningful instructions . !! Amazon is your company so desperate for profits that your selling this crap???

Do not buy these, they look NOTHING like the picture. Mine came bright red , white and blue, like ugly bright. THe pattern was not even the same either, yes it was a flag but it wasn't like what is pictured. I would show a pic but I was so mad that I made the return as soon as I got them.

The main problem is the actual protectant filter is TO small for an adult person. Also the actual filter is held in place by the valve so the edges of the filter piece is not held in place. An the filter edges are not supported and the valve comes loose while you wear it. Not safe.
