This is a CHILDREN'S desk - let's get that out of the way. Young kids.. from age 5 (or a big 4 year old?) to maybe up to preteens. We got it for my 6 year old, who is small for her age, when she started 1st grade for homework purposes - and art. I chose this because of the STORAGE and my daughter was set on the color (blue is her favorite). The desk is HEAVY so it's pretty sturdy so far and, I think, pretty good value overall. No issues, but I use a table liner (?) on the top to prevent scratches and stains (fingers crossed). We plan on letting our youngest use it once the oldest grows out of it... whenever that may be. The drawers don't open up the smoothest, but that's fine. Overall, very pleased with it and my daughter loves her first Big Girl desk as well! Hopefully, it'll last.

I love your the desks I ordered. This is my third desk I have ordered from this company. There was a small shipping problem, but their customer service solved it very quickly and were so professional. I can’t say enough about this company.

Assembles into a nice sturdy desk and chair. Fit and finish are fantastic. We have bought two of these for a 5 and 8 year old. I am over 250 lbs and the chair handles me just fine. I highly recommend these!I did buy plexiglass to protect the top because the finish is so nice I didn't want it marred by rough play but eventually, hopefully, the kids will use it more for homework and less artwork projects.

My daughter loves her new desk, although she was disappointed when the leg of her chair cracked as my husband was putting it together. The chair is also missing the correct bolt and screw so my husband plans to make an extra trip and look for them at the hardware store, thus making it impossible for my daughter to use the chair with her new desk at this time. If this didn't happen, I would have rated this set higher. It's unfortunate her new desk set has a crack down the chair leg and missing hardware, but she is so excited about her new desk I don't want to disappoint her even more by sending it back. I plan on contacting the company to see if they are able to send out a new chair/hardware. We'll see...

It was pretty easy to set up, beautiful paint job, sturdy. Very happy.

It’s larger than I was expecting which I guess is nice and the color is what I was after, but it’s not worth the price. The hardware is cheap and goes together poorly. Several pieces didn’t have the holes drilled at all. Other pieces would not catch together to tighten and just fell apart. The instructions are also not always super clear. We’ll keep it only because it’d be too much of a pain to try to return but I’m not expecting it to hold up well at all. For a $400+ desk, I was expecting better.

The media could not be loaded. The color is pretty and after putting it together I was pretty happy with the product . However, I had to message the seller 2 days after getting it about the water bubbles. We sat a regular old water bottle on the desk and huge bubbles started forming in the wood and the paint bubbled off. I contacted the seller and explained the piece that bubbled and even sent a photo. The seller asked what letter it was but the thing took forever to setup and the photo should have been self explanatory. It is literally the top part of the desk where you write. It was a really expensive piece of furniture for a child and I thought for the money it would last him awhile. I was wrong! My $80 desk that I had purchased for myself lasted longer than my sons and I’ve never had to worry about it bubbling from just a plastic water bottle. I was really upset about this and had to purchase and extra large mouse pad to cover up the water spots. I’m not spending roughly $500 for another. Really unhappy about this and will not purchase from this seller again.
