How can I tell if they work just hope so worth trying. good easy to swallow and good no taste

For many years I thought of Vitamin D, synthesised by the skin under exposure to sunlight, purely as the ‘bone vitamin’ It helps to uptake calcium into bone. I reckoned that the fact that I vigorously exercise outside, summer and winter, so meaning that I would get sufficient synthetisation from bare arms, and the exercise itself would be helping strengthen bone and muscle.It was a doctor friend, several years ago, who alerted me to the fact that most of us, these days, are likely to be somewhat D deficient, as the wearing of sunscreen products, whilst of course helpful to protect the skin from the destructive effects of UV rays, more necessary now, due to the hole in the ozone layer, means we are less likely to get the amount of sun on our skin to synthesise the vitamin. She said undiagnosed Vitamin D deficiency was a major unacknowledged problem. So I did take Vitamin D during the winter monthsMy reading led me to realise it is a far more useful vitamin than just for bone. It is more even than just ‘immunity supporting’. Some studies have shown that there seems to be a correlation between Vitamin D deficiency and those more likely to suffer severely from Covid. Some studies showed statistically significant links between those hospitalised and ending up in intensive care and Vitamin D deficiency. And an even more interesting Spanish study took a cohort of people admitted to hospital with Covid, and divided the cohort into two groups, both of whom were treated with the medical protocols currently seen as effective, but one group also had the vitamin D analogue calcifidiol in high dose. ( There was an astonishingly effective correlation between that group and recovery compared with the group receiving the standard protocols alone. My delivery of Vitamin D was delivered yesterday and I was pleased that the package fitted easily through the letterbox - very useful for anyone who may be out when the courier arrives. The capsules come in a flat-shaped tough plastic box with a flip up lid and a foil seal to prevent tampering and ensure freshness.The capsules themselves are a decent size and I would say easy to swallow for most people. I have taken Vitamin D3 since the start of the Covid 19 lockdown, as there seems to be an increasing body of evidence that Vitamin D supplementation is a useful thing to do and could aid the immune system, perhaps helping to lessen the symptoms of infection. Whether you believe this or not, it is still a useful supplement to take as most of us in the UK have a limited exposure to sunlight, which is needed in order for the body to produce this important vitamin naturally.This particular product has the advantage in that it contains K2 with the D3. The combination of the two has a known synergistic effect and ensures calcium absorption into bones, whilst preventing calcification within the arteries. Good product for sensible price. Nice packaging, very thin which save lots of space in my cupboard and also easily going through the letterbox. High quality supplements which last for 3 months. Perfect for autumn, winter time when there is not enough sun.
