Iridescent Film Rainbow Iridescent cellophane Opal White Festival decoration

Tried to find this in stores and was unsuccessful for a long time, but this is exactly what I needed for my project.

I got this for fairy wings, and haven't found the time to make them so I don't know how they work for that sort of thing that have ended up using it as packaging for gifts, and it makes a nice and pretty gift wrapping.

When I first got this - I thought it was very thick as the package had some heft to it. But it is just that you get a lot of it - which is great. The material is thin enough to use for many projects and crafts. That is what I got this for. Plus it seems you can layer quite a few sheets without issue if you need a thicker type of material. Even just one thin piece - it seems pretty durable. The colors are very pretty as well.I am going to make some Christmas ornaments with this. I figure I can easily glue it onto wooden ornaments and glass ornaments - maybe even incorporate it into clay ones. Plus if I get some larger clear balls - I can either scrunch and stuff this inside or cut strips or bits and put inside like pretty snow. OOooooh - maybe I will add some to my Christmas cards too! Very versatile. If I had a more ethereal picture or something hanging on my wall, I would add it just under the picture's glass to add a bit of magic. Maybe I will wrap it around a battery operated candle holder too. I am even going to incorporate it somehow into some earrings I am thinking to create as well. There are several things you could use this clear iridescent film for including just to add some pretty color to plain tissue paper in gift baskets or boxes, use it for mermaid or fish craft projects, and it would definitely make great insect wings for a costume or craft if applied to a framework. The material is thin but is fairly strong and does not rip easily. It does have some wrinkles in it so it's not completely smooth. The video that accompanies the ad is helpful to see exactly what it is. They include a small piece of iridescent plastic sheet as a gift.
