I LOVE these noodles. I’m in a calorie deficit and I use to buy these at Publix and one day I couldn’t find them anymore. There’s like 5 calories or something it’s very low. I personally like the texture but I’ve allowed my mom to taste it and she thinks it has a funny texture like plastic I guess? Not me though. You can’t eat it right out the bag tho you have to cook it down into a sauce or gravy to let it soften a bit

Best noodle replacement I’ve found. I haven’t noticed any weird taste or smell. I rinse them before using and they don’t really have a taste on their own.

All of my noodles were hard and inedible. Instead of the soft, jellow-like texture I'm used to seeing when I physically go shopping at Walmart, the ones delivered were rubbery and too tough to consume. Inedible and a waste of money. They possibly have a storage problem when delivering these items. I couldn’t eat a single pack. Had to throw them all away.

First, I think you need to temper your expectations when trying this product. It’s not going to taste even remotely like traditional wheat spaghetti. If you set your expectations accordingly, I think this is a great product. I use these noodles with peanut and curry sauces and they provide volume and have a neutral taste, making them a good vessel for sauce, veggies, and protein. That being said, I experienced inconsistency in texture in the order I most recently received. The noodles should be plump and moist upon opening the package; one of the packages I received had thin and crunchy noodles that did not rehydrate upon cooking. For the price, I would expect the product to be consistent.

They are quite expensive considering you only get one serving from a package. I believe the package says there are two servings but really there is only enough for one bowl. I'm a Type 2 Diabetic and these noodles did not spike my blood sugar so it's worth it to me to splurge on these every now and then. These do not taste like pasta so some people may be disappointed but if you like rice or cellophane noodles you may really like these. There's no smell. I rinse the noodles, dry them as much as possible with paper towels before putting in a pan to dry out more. I think that last step is important in order for the noodles to soak up the liquid and flavors in whatever recipe you use them in. I've only used them for curry and spaghetti but they worked great.

I have tried different low carb options for a rice replacement. This is my go-to option. It doesn't have flavor, which is a plus since most of the time the rice alternatives bring a flavor to the dish that I don't' want. It has good texture, although a bit more gummy than rice, it is the best non-carb alternative I have found so far.The biggest thing is that I will put it in a pot on the stove ahead of time to get some additional water out of it because when mixed into hot food it releases water. Without any prepping this can be too much liquid.I am also planning on trying a method where I add it into the food earlier and leverage some of the liquid in the dish, just not sure how well it will hold up.If you are looking for a non-carb alternative to rice, I think this would definitely be worth a try, it's my favorite so far
