Moen LR2250DW 9-Inch Home Care Designer Hand Grip, Glacier White

I bought three of these grips, two for my son and one for me. I was attracted by the price and after reading reviews I decided to give them a try since they were the best priced grips that I could find. I wish I could have found some metal ones at such a good price but that is not going to happen. My son installed them and it was a simple installation. I have now had them up for over a week and I use it several times a day and they are very solid and do a great job. It gives me a hand up and helps with balance too. My son had room for two and he is severely handicapped and they are a big help to him too. I am very happy to have them and hope that they continue to hold up and do the job they were meant for. You just can't beat the price and they also look good . I felt like the Moen name was a plus and I would highly recommend them. 06/12/15 I bought three of these a couple of years ago and I have loved mine and use it daily. I needed a new one for using by the bathtub and I looked back to find where I had purchased before. I was thrilled to find it again and the price had stayed the same too. This is a great hand grip and is very sturdy. I really recommend this product.

Very easy to install. Pop the end caps. Mark the wall for screws. Screw in ta da. Very sturdy.

Well fab, beautiful and simple. I bought it twice with the suction type handles side by side, so I can install on Sheet-rock wall. The only trouble this time was that I stripped the head of one of the screws. Be careful on this!

My wife wanted something sleek and attractive, not obviously a grab bar. While there's no mistaking that this is a grab bar, it is sleek and attractive. Other reviewers had mentioned that the screws stripped too easily during installation. Duly warned, I put all of my body weight into it and tried to drive them in slowly and carefully. One top and one bottom screw seated. The second upper and lower screw stripped out half way in. Unfortunately, the screws are fit into a narrow slot so removing them with vice grips wouldn't work. I had to use my screw extractors to get out the bad screws. I replaced them with square drive screws, which did the job nicely. This grab bar is attractive and unobtrusive and there is a nice softer grip material on the inside of the grip, providing positive grip with the fingers. The screws had very shallow Philips head screws and were soft metal. Why they couldn't use a harder metal in the screw and a deeper, more positive drive profile, such as square or star drive, I don't know. We're only talking about pennies more so I don't understand why they made such a nice product with crappy screws. My advice would be to ditch the screws and use your own. Or buy yourself some screw extractors for when the screws, inevitably fail. Other than that, I'm very pleased with it.

Exactly what we needed. No longer available at Lowe’s. Sturdy, since it is screwed into the tile wall. (Need to use a ceramic bit for powered drill.)

I'm a big fan of Moen products & these are just what I was looking for & needed. Moen has high quality standards & beautifully styled items, like this simple shower grip. It blends with my shower surround, looks very streamlined & like it SHOULD be where it is, not an add-on. I have bad knees & felt uncomfortable when using my shower, always worried I would fall or slip. These give me more confidence. I'm using the 2nd one for the steps going to my sun room so I don't "wobble" going up & down them. Great purchase, well-priced & from a company I trust. A perfect match!

This Moen product lives up to their reputation, an excellent product. The "soft" handgrip is a very helpful feature, the size is just right for a single hand grip. Installation is a breeze.
