NO Signal Conversion Function - Read the Fine Print
I bought this to try and hook up an older DVD player to a newer TV. It did not work. Not the products fault though, I didn't read the fine print that there is no signal conversion. I did manage to find the right product that worked though: RCA to HDMI Converter, Composite to HDMI Adapter Support

Does not work with older DVD or VCR
I ordered this to use an older VCR. I was unable to get a signal through to the TCL 4K TV. tried an older DVD player and same result, no signal. I think the technology in these new TVs are not backwards compatible. But then TV shows channels not in HD.

Doesn't work
Didn't work. I tried this on a Vizio TV, another SMART TV, 2 laptops, and a DVD player. No connection detected on any of the devices. Doesn't work at all.

Hdmi to rca cable
Great to connect from TV to other things like a vcr/DVD player. Easy to use and install.

it did not work. HDMI output from powered splitter (that works) to VCR input. It should have worked but does not. not sure if it is faulty but in reading other reviews a lot of people are having issues, very disappointing
