Been using it continuously for the past 6 years in our overlanding small rig as we travel the world, and we love it!It is large enough to heat good amount of water for one person showering inside our camper (we mix it with same amount of cold water), and to fill the kitchen sink with hot water for dish washing.Everywhere we went, from Eskimo villages in the arctic to the Jungles in South America, women asked us if we were willing to part from this large kettle, and we always felt sorry when saying no.*One problem with this Kettle is that after a while the handle didn’t stay in the upright position, so I head to drill out one of the two rivets and replace it with a stainless bolt/nut.*After 8.5 years of daily use, there is a leak somewhere which we can’t find, that leaves wet rings under the kettle, so it’s time to replace it with a new one.

The Best!!! This has to be the best water kettle I have ever bought. The lid is air tight, that including steam tight. Handle gets warm, but not hot at all. Easy to pick up handle with bare hand, which stays in place, while you pour and no drips from funnel. And good quality stainless steel. I just love it. It is a little on the large size, as it does hold 5 1/4 quarts, but fits my gas stove just fine. Have been putting it on a hot plate on my wood burning heater, and have hot water all day for my tea. Love it!!!

I bought this kettle for heating hot water on the stove as I have no running water. It heats just enough for bathing or washing dishes and the price was good too. I've had it for several years now and haven't had any problems, though I rarely boil water in it, just get it hot enough to wash with. Like others have said, the lid is a little tight. I even used it once to generate steam for a wood steam bending box bending Ash for making snowshoes and it worked great! Wouldn't mind finding one that is slightly larger, but like I said, it heats just about enough water, if it was bigger I would have to wait longer for a larger mass of water to come up to temp so I can't complain.I've thought it would be cool to add a digital thermometer through the vent hole in the lid that could set an alarm at a preset temperature, but over the years I simply know the little noises it makes when the water hits about 120 deg F.

THIS is a serious kettle! I had a small basic one from Big Lots and was constantly refilling it. Decided to get a larger one and BOY am I glad I chose this one! I make our Sweet Tea up, no problem, with plenty enough water leftover for some hot chocolate, chai, ramen noodles, whatever. This is well-made and I don't anticipate ever needing to purchase another kettle. It's big and it's FUNCTIONAL! Prompt delivery and the quality is all there. Highly recommend.

We drink a lot of tea. This holds enough water that we can make two pitchers of tea at a time. It also holds enough water that I can pour it down the kitchen sink to remove the grease which occasionally builds up.I am diabetic 2 so need to carefully monitor what I drink, often needing electrolytes water does not provide. This helps in that we can make enough tea at a time to last the whole day instead of using a smaller tea kettle much more often.

I am so pleased with the size of this teapot. It is shiny and the handle looks like quality. The one thing that causes me concern is that I can see the impression that is stamped on the bottom of the pot inside the pot. I mean this. They stamped a name and information on the bottom. The metal on the bottom is thin enough that I can see it inside the pot on the bottom. I assume it is not going to last as long as I would hope because eventually it will fail where that impression is. I don't like poor quality. So as good as it looks, I know that I have to do all that i can to extend it's life... How sad.

This is a wonderful kettle. I am very picky and this tea kettle has every feature that I like. It is sturdy and heats quickly. The handle does not get hot, so it is easy to pour. It has a wide nozzle and no whistle. Also, the lid does not leak steam while boiling or hot water while pouring.

I really like this kettle. We drink a lot of tea throughout the day using loose tea (is there any other?) This kettle allows us to make at least 7 to 8 healthy cups, thereby not having to prepare a new pot two or three times per day. What I have found troublesome is the cover. It fits so tightly that it can't be removed w/o prying it open, so I am forced to lightly placing the cover on the kettle while waiting for the water to boil and after placing the tea cozy in the kettle. If someone could tell me how to loosen this cover I'd appreciate it. Other than that it's a very nice kettle.
