Good stamp but you have to burn the tip each time for it to work correctly

Grooves not deep enough
This was a Christmas gift. My son loved the pattern. However, the stamps grooves are not inset enough that the pattern shows up very well. He even tried hitting it harder, which still didn't make it look like the picture.

Be wary. This is a fine well-made stamp, but the head on it is tiny so expect to spend an excessive amount of time stamping if you want to have an appreciable sized piece of "snake skin" for use
