They are good for the price but the buttons are not the greatest. The are raised up a little too high for my liking. For most games it's ok but I noticed on some games it didn't compare to the OG versions. Cord length is ok and the build seems ok as long as you go easy on them. They have worked in several computers without any issues and I've used them with a RetroPie which also worked great. I get why they put the cord where it is on the NES controller to give it that OG look but I didn't like the placement then and I don't like it now. The wire should come out in the middle like the SNES controller but it's a minor issue and you get over it quick just like you did back in the day. Overall they are pretty decent for the price I paid, hope they hold up.

Would not recommend.
Was excited to get these controllers to try out some of my favorite SNES/NES games. Set up controls for Megaman X 2 and right away noticed that the B button wouldn't trigger properly causing me to constantly fall into pits. I would not recommend this controller for any fast paced games that you have to have twitch controls for. When I hit the B button it only recognizes when it is pushed in it's "sweet" spot causing a lot of unneeded deaths within the game. It might be fine if you have the button pressed down at ALL times. Beware this doesn't make it easier to play, but handicaps you. May be nice if you are too good >.> lol.

These are good controllers, though not "great
These are good controllers, though not "great." I'm not sure if my emulator is having a hard time picking up controls or if it's a matter of the controller itself, but for example I'm having a hard time doing special moves in Street Fighter II that require a down, down-right, right type of sweep. That game is pretty much unplayable, but other games are fine.

Buy the adapter instead, you will get a realistic experiance
I purchased this item after I seen some emulators online of games I played as a kid. Seeing the price included two controllers I decided to buy.I used it for about 20 mins before I gave up and bought an adapter to use my real controller on the PC. While playing the buttons didn't feel to realistic and the plastic was soft plastic covering. The price may seem good, but the controller is just not going to cut it for me. I noticed some buttons don't respond on when pressed one or twice, then you have to unplug and plug the controller back in. I highly recommend the adapter if you have a controller cause its going to be the most realistic experience you get. I bought it cause it was cheap, but not it will just sit here and not be used unless someone in my house wants to play a two player game.

Look great, but play poorly
I bought these for the throwback nostalgia, but the quality just isn't there. Everyone smiles when they see the controllers, but the one job they have (being game controllers) is what they fall short on.That said, they installed really easily on my RaspberryPi setup. They are recognized each time they are plugged in and the custom confine work. The real issue is that the direction pads, start & select buttons, and the A, B, X, Y buttons aren't very accurate. So yeah... Buy something else because these are a disappointment for playing the classic Nintendo roms with.

**Updated** 2nd Time's A Charm
***Update- The seller contacted me and quickly sent me replacements for the original controllers. The new ones work perfectly. I guess I just had bad luck the first time.***I would not recommend this to anyone. Neither controller is usable. I have retropie set up on two Raspberry Pis, and both controllers have issues with buttons not working or d-pad directions not working. My PS3 controller works perfectly fine, so the problem is definitely with these controllers. Sadly, I didn't get a chance to test them on another unit until just outside of the return window.

NES Controller is a Little Janky. Can't Beat the Price
The SNES controller works just fine. Not a single complaint. However, the directional pad on the NES controller is a bit of a trouble maker. Not only does it communicate poorly with my emulators (a consistent issue that other nerd reviews do better at explaining) but the squared off ridges of the pad definitely causes a bit of thumb soreness after extended play. Still worth the price.

Feels Almost like original
just got these in and other than the buttons on the nes controller being convexed and the cord a little bit heavier I cannot tell the difference in the two. I did swap out the A and B buttons with originals for the feel. I'll add to this when I use the SNES one. Works as intended
