Mens Concealed Carry Leather Gun Belt Made in USA - Brown 42 inch

I carry a little Ruger LCP and have always been disappointed that either of my two IWB holster's "clips" could come unhooked if I bent or sat in a certain way. I finally (duh) figured out that my old belts were wide enough, but pretty thin and were "rolling" a bit when the holster clip put a strain on them. I don't usually spend $60 for a belt, but I'm so glad I did, because this one is thick enough to prevent that rolling, and each of my holsters stay attached, just fine. I like the looks of the belt, no flaws in the finish, handsome buckle, etc., and feel comfortable wearing it for most occasions. I followed the sizing recommendations (one size bigger than my usual belts and two sizes bigger than my waist) , and with my IWB holster attached, the fit is excellent. There is only one more unused hole to make the belt tighter, however, and an extra hole would offer more flexibility to adjust for weight loss or wearing the belt without the IWB holster. I recommend NOT ordering a belt SMALLER than the recommended size (see the size chart). My belt is too new to offer any evaluation of durability, but it seems very sturdy and I predict it will last a long time, AND, it's made in the USA!

To assist with measurements, the listed length is from the bottom of the buckle (where it attaches to the belt) to the middle hole. There are only 5 holes, each 1" apart (There is plenty of room for an additional hole on either side, not to sure why limit at 5). That said, with a 38" waist (real, not pant sizes...), a 42 was too large. It fit OK with an IWB, but without, the first hole was a little loose. If your holsters are slim, or you have a single stack, I recommend getting only 1 size up, and I have reordered a 40. As far as quality, this belt is about as nice as leather can get, and the buckle seems nice. Of course, I have no real world measure of durability yet. The belt is well made and sturdy,and leather is somewhat predictable, if taken care of, so I have no doubt it will last a long time.

These are great belts. I wear one with jeans everyday. After 3 years, even the gold stamped inlay on the back is still there. I'm guessing this belt will last at least another 3 years or longer.Don't buy 5 of these unless you're still in your 20's. They'll last longer than you do!

This is a great leather carry belt. Double thick leather with a strong metal buckle. Holds up my pants as it should. In a CCW need, it is truly in its element. Ordered two sizes over my normal pant size. (34 waist 36 belt) The belt measures 1 1/2" in width. Worn everyday for 3 months and it still looks new. Would buy again.

Great belt. Looks great and matches my holster perfectly. I wear a 42 size jeans, and the 46 belt is on the middle hole with my IWB holster for my XDs .45. This is a thick and study belt for EDC.

This belt is now my everyday belt. It is of the finest quality. Heavy leather that will last the test of time. It will support any holster IWB or OWB. You won't be sorry if you purchase this belt.

I wanted a wider, thicker, and stiffer belt to ensure my holster stays firmly attached and in position. The belt is all leather and is stamped Made in USA which is a huge bonus in my mind. However, there were two things I didn't like about the belt. First, despite its width and thickness the belt isn't very stiff and sturdy. Second, the sizing is way off. I have at least 8 belts in my closet (e.g. black and brown in both casual and business wear in various combinations from three different brands.) They are all size 36. The manufacturer recommends going up 1 or 2 inches, so I ordered a size 38 belt. I could barely get the buckle into the last hole. I would need a size 40 for the belt to fit right and it would still be snug. A concealed holster would require even more room, so I would probably need a size 42 or maybe even 44. Anyway, I returned the belt and I haven't decided whether I should just order a bigger one or buy a different product altogether.Unrelated product note: I find it very hard to buy "clothing related" products online and much prefer to shop in a physical store. However, Amazon's selection is unbeatable and the free return shipping makes the experience more palatable despite the hassle of processing returns.At the time of my review there are five other reviews all very positive, so my experience is clearly a one off review and your experience may be (statistically speaking) much better than mine.

Thought this belt would be like all the others, weak and thin. Pleasantly surprised it is not. Perfectly thick and exactly what I need. I'm actually going to order another.
