NYX PROFESSIONAL MAKEUP Mineral Matte Finishing Powder, Loose Setting Powder - Light/Medium

I love this product. It works really well for my skin tone. HOWEVER, I have light brown skin (like coffee with milk in it or caramel). I really don't think this would work on a darker complexion. This is a really great product. The people who gave it bad reviews because it was too light should have been able to tell it was too light just by looking at it. The product matches the color in the picture. If you're darker, it wont work. Common sense. If your skin is similar to the color of the product in the picture (a few shades lighter/darker is fine but overall a similar color), then it will work well for you. It gives my skin a matte tone which I love. It completely blends with my makeup. <3 Love it!

A really nice container (like the Bobbi Brown powder I’ve used for ten times the price). You tap it lightly, it has tiny holes that the powder comes out of so there’s no waste. It’s very light and sheer, feels great on your face and doesn’t show. Great color and quality. I will be repurchasing this product.

This is a really good product. I purchased this by accident, thinking it was a foundation, but it is a loose setting powder. I used it as a foundation at first, which had nice covering and matched my skin well. However, it's supposed to set over the makeup instead. I was surprisingly NOT shiny at all after applying this makeup, which was a plus. I recommend.

I have wore everything from MAC to Maybelline and this is the BEST for your money! Absolutely love the coverage! It sets my foundation without creasing or caking. It has a nice satin finish, not an extreme matte finish. My mascara tends to run (raccoon eyes) if I don’t put powder under my eyes and this does a great job... no mascara runs or bleeds! It does not have any odor. Love the container! It holds up to ruff handling and me tossing it in my makeup bag. It does not crack or leak. The shade / color works weather I have a summer tan or winter light face. Just give it a try! You will love it!

I've used this for about a year, and can honestly say it's a good product for the money. I recently tried the stay matte by NYX compact powder and HATED it. This loose powder here, works way better at keeping me powdered longer in between blotting and dusting my face---and DOES NOT CAKE or build up in creases etc. OILY SKIN will need to be blotted and powdered more than one time a day, period. I'm sure there are better powders out there, but for the price, this NYX loose powder is great.

The NYX Mineral Matte Finish Powder gives a pretty nice finish and helps mattify the skin without feeling heavy, but it’s important to mention that it does cause flashback when taking photos with flash, which can be inconvenient if you use it for nighttime events. For everyday wear it works well, controls shine decently, and blends easily over foundation, although it’s not the longest-lasting powder out there. Overall, it’s an affordable option that does the job, but you should keep the photography effect in mind.

Helps set make up and gives flawless texture and application

I have been wanting to try mineral powder for a long time. It goes on very easily. The powder is much finer than the usual powder foundation and after buffing it wow is my skin soft. I love the way it feels on my face. An added bonus that I was not expecting is that very very little of it comes off onto my face mask. I work in a hospital and I have to keep my mask on all day because of COVID-19. My prior powder would come off onto my mask even though I made every effort to apply it sparingly. The purpose of me wearing powder is not so much the makeup finish but just to keep my face from shining as the day progresses. This powder does that and it doesn't leave a mess in my mask at the end of the day. I feel a lot cleaner because of that. I am very happy with this product.
