The TS408 TPMS tool is awesome! Works great.
The TS408 TPMS scanner is reasonably priced and very easy to use. I bought 4 Autel sensors online from online seller who said he would program them specifically to my car before sending. Once mounted on new wheels/tires it was clear the sensors were never programmed/activated.I then contacted Autel tech support through their website and was very impressed. A real person got back to me quickly by email, and I was actually able to talk to him in person about what tool to get, and the steps needed to program the sensors.I decided to get the TS408 tool, as it could perform all the functions I needed to get the sensors working. Just took a few minutes to clone my original TPMS sensors and get them working. Works perfectly for BMW328i x-drive. Was able to program sensors while already mounted in the wheels and on the car; just need to briefly lower tire pressure to less than10 psi while programming. The TS408 tool is well built, with solid feel and clear display. The menus are quite self-explanatory.While I had the TS408 out, I also used it to scan the OEM TPMS sensors on my Suburban wheels and check their status. It gives a lot of details (e.g. PSI, TPMS vendor, model, battery status, etc.) and takes just seconds to scan each wheel. I took a screen shot of the sensor ID's from the TS408 screen so that in case a sensor fails in the future, I can just program new one to same value. This would be equivalent of retrieving the sensor IDs from OBDII, which this tool can't do.I keep my cars a long time, and figure this tool will be great to troubleshoot and maintain my TPMS sensors.

Save yourself the headache and just buy this tool
After fighting with generic relearn tools for a couple weeks (....because my techs can't seem to keep track of small shop tools ...) finally just bought this tool and found out 3 of 4 sensors weren't programmed. Needless to say it took all of 5 minutes to program the sensors and relearn them to the truck. 11/10

It worked only once on the 'program' mode.
I bought this June last year and worked fine I was able to program 2 new sensors to my 2010 Rav4. After using I stored it back in its casing and inside the house. Now 11 months later I tried to use it to program new sensors to my other car 2011 Rav4 using the same type of sensors but it doesn't work anymore. It reads the TPMS pressure either installed in the tire or placed on the table but it's not able to do the programming anymore. On the programming mode it always says 'no sensor detected'. It reads the pressure but when you 'program' it it won't detect the perfectly fine sensor. What a waste of money. Won't ever buy this brand again.

Great tool
Great tool to add to your tool box, seems a little slow but for your average home mechanic this tool will work great, just make sure it works with your specific vehicle brand.

Awesome tool and ❤️❤️❤️
I have a 2007 Mazda CX-7 and tpms sensor on the dash is on for many months I went to a service center and ask them how much they will charge for diagnose and they said 45$ a tire but I waited for a while until I looked for alternatives and found this tool so I decided to buy this and after two days of delivery I try to use this kind of tool for the first time of my life and found out it is easy to use and I scan all my tpms sensor one by one found out that the tire pressure are incorrect I thought I need to buy a new sensor but the scan tool said they are ok and i put the correct pressure on each tire using this tool and drive the car and guess what tpms sensor on the dash went off what a great device

Does not clone sensors
It’s advertised that it clones original sensor and can program new MX sensor. However, it does not clone the sensor. The user has to connect to OBD port and clone original sensor from there. It needs updates prior for vehicle inclusion and it seems very suspect.

Works very well
Had a dead sensor on a 2010 Outback, after the software update, I was able to enter the sensor ID and quickly program a new one from Autel, the car saw it after about half a mile and the light went off. Also easy to check the batteries on the OEM sensors, will probably change the other three next time I buy tires. This saved hundreds of $ and avoided trip to the dealer.
