I don't take this all the time. This is an ancient Chinese herb that offers support for many issues. I save it for when I need a real boost to my immune system during those times of year when it's wintery and miserable. I found the capsules easy to swallow but close your nose because they do have a mild smell. Nothing outrageous though. You only need 1 capsule, and you get an extra strength dose with just that! This bottle has 2 months' worth. Almost enough to get me through winter. I trust this brand implicitly. They have been around for many years and I have used many of their other products with great results! I highly recommend EuroMedica Andrographis!

I've been taking this for a couple of weeks now.This is reported (and studies show) to be very beneficial, especially for immune cell counts. So it's hard to know if this is actually working for myself as far as that goes. I was hoping this would help my chronic sinus troubles, but unfortunately even countless antibiotics help little. So I can't really blame this supplement as it was a long shot. Surgery seems to be the only solution left for me.It is easy to take (average size capsules of 2cm x .5cm) and I experience no side effects.The bottle states this is made in a cGMP compliant facility for Euromedica but does not say where it was manufactured. I personally would like to know and wish they would put this on the container.There is silica, an anticaking agent, listed as an other ingredient. Supposedly safe as long as it's not inhaled and no more than 10-30 grams ingested a day, due to the FDA. Since it is 2nd to last on the ingredients, I'm guessing the amount is minimal. But again, it would be nice to know this information. However, this is very common for supplements and there are little restrictions compared to other 'non natural' meds that have to go through rigorous testing and approvals. But even that is not full proof as we well know.

I take prescription, traditional, prescribed medicine. I want to try some of these natural and other nontraditional methods. I was advised by the doctor not to mix the two. However, my plan is to give natural products a try. My method is to take tradition medicines on a twelve-hour basis. Then take natural medicine on the in-between 6 hours basis. I will need to get up during the night to take the natural medicines but I am awake periodically during the night.These natural medicines are mostly unregulated. So, I look for supplements and vitamins that are GMP (General Manufacturing Procedure) accredited. I also check for third party testing.
