This steam mop was a replacement for a ten year old Hoover steam mop. It works great and I really like the variety of attachments that it offers. It is easy to use and does a complete job. It has great steam output.

Amazing results. I have a dog that sheds a lot and 3 kids under 8 who are extremely messy. I had a different steam mop made by Hoover (the cord was chewed by our puppy), and I would still have to scrub spots even after using the steam mop. With this one, I used the steamer just once and had phenomenal results without scrubbing. That should say all that is needed if you are debating whether it is worth it, like I did. I promise, it is worth it.

I’ve seen all the mixed reviews on this steam mop. I decided to take a risk because it was on sale. Short: it is a tad bit on the short side and I am 5’4”. Maybe if the handle had an extra 2 or 3 inches to it, but for me it’s not a major deal breaker after getting used to it but it was very noticeable at first. Tools and gadgets: it has a lot of tools and gadgets and you can store some of them in the unit itself or you can store it in the drawstring bag it comes with. Love the drawstring bag. I haven’t used any of the gadgets yet. Stands up: This thing stands up on its own so it’s easier to store away and it is petite and doesn’t take up much space. Which I love. Water: it didn’t use a lot of water. It uses about 17 oz of water between its two water compartments. Depending on how dirty your job is, it can clean a lightly dirty 600-800 square foot space. For anything dirtier than that you will have to refill one or two times for that same square footage. Grout: This item does clean grout. There is a small attachment to do so when you attach it to a wand like tool. There IS a larger triangular grout brush on the bottom of the mop head itself so you don’t have to get on your knees or bend over. This is the one I use often for the tiled floors downstairs. I have dogs that will pee off the pee pad and get urine in the grout lines. This thing totally cleans up the yellow urine easily and the grout lines are perfectly white afterwards. It takes a little practice learning how to perfectly angle the triangular brush where the grout lines are… but the effort in the end is worth it. Before this I had a canister steam mop from a brand that starts with Steamfast. This thing is super heavy, can hold more water, but hard to maneuver around corners, etc. I find more joy using this Hoover steam mop. Also one other reason why I bought this mop is because you have temperature or maybe it’s steam control and if I ever needed to use a lower setting for things like laminate flooring I can do so without worrying about destroying my flooring. This mop doesn’t leave a lot of water behind so cleaning time is quick. I’m not sure if it’s because on the hottest/max setting it reaches a temperature that avoids moisture or because of the microfiber cloth pads. I would avoid using tap water on this because I’m almost certain it will stop this machine from working after a few tries. I use bottle water. I gave it 4 stars because I’ve only had it for a month and used it a total of 5 times. If this thing lasts a long time I will change the rating to 5 stars.

I had a shark for well over a decade, great steamer, but, it finally died. Thought I'd give this one a try since hoover has been around for what seems like forever. Bad choice, this thing is JUNK, I've used it less than a handful of times and there's problems already. The trigger on handle stopped depressing the trigger on the body, so no steam, had to rig a twist tie around the body trigger to get it to work, okay, fine, then as I went to unplug it after using it last week, I noticed that the little plastic panel on the back of the body was kind of pushed out, no matter how I tried, it would not click back into place and stay there, so, I put a piece of duct tape over it, okay fine. As I plugged it in to use today, I'm notice steam coming out of the back of the body, not at all where it's supposed to be coming from, so, I unplugged it, removed the duct tape and the cover that was stuck to said tape and I look inside, there are 2 hoses, I gently move them to make sure they are still attached, well guess what, 1 was not, hence the steam coming out of the back The hole is to small to get any kind of anything in there to see where the hose belongs, i realize now that the hose must have come off last time, steamed and warped the plastic cover, which is why it wouldn't stay on, imagine that. Oh and by the by, there are no serviceable parts on this POS, and I'm past the retun window,so, I'm going to have to MacGyver it if I can, wish me luck, and PLEASE spare yourself this same fate.

This was the best thing I ever bought. It cleans up after the animals naturally. No chemicals. Plus, with the attachments, I can steam the couch every couple of months. If you have animals this is a must.

I had a couple of smaller/lighter models previously that I did like, especially the first one I got which I can’t remember the name of, but I return them because they were the missing pieces or didn’t work. This one’s a little bit heavier than I hoped for. I don’t care for the two separate water containers, would prefer one large one. This makes plenty of steam, leaves my floors wet even if I turn it down. I don’t care for the handheld part of it because it’s kind of hard to get it around things with it like my sink faucets and toilet. But I didn’t send this one back because I am embarrassed that I keep returning things and afraid Amazon would cut me off! Lol… I really don’t think they would but I’ve returned to many and in order to do so I have to take them to Kohl’s , and being disabled it’s not easy to carry something like this to the back of the store. UPDATE: I bought the steam mop in March 2022, I’ve only used it about 10 times in my little apartment, mainly on the kitchen and bathroom tile floors which are very small and around my sink areas. So that’s not a lot of use, and today when I went to use it the water is leaking out of it on the handheld unit itself right below the filter looking thingy. So far I haven’t seen where there is the warranty on this but I’m searching. Hope they will make good on this since it’s only been used less than a dozen times in my tiny apartment in 8 months!

Me encanta cada parte del producto. Es muy fácil de usar, ligero, el compartimiento para los accesorios me quita de estar buscando donde los puse, no gotea, super versátil, a pesar de que los depósitos de agua son pequeños rinden bastante, quita las manchas muy fácil, la cantidad de vapor es perfecta. Vi en otros reviews contras que le ven pero de todos esos contras yo no los viví: los accesorios no se caen del compartimiento, no gotea, el vapor sale caliente, la almohadilla no se safa de la placa de abajo cuando lo estás usando, no deja manchado el piso y sale bastante vapor. Creo que lo único que no me super encanta es que como solo usas agua deja un olor no desagradable pero tampoco neutro y de hecho en las manchas dejadas por mis mascotas llega a oler mal y tengo que darle varias pasadas. Me encantaría poderle agregar algún producto de limpieza pero en las instrucciones claramente dice que no se puede usar nada excepto agua. Eso es lo único que le veo. De ahí en fuera pffff es una maravilla.

I was skeptical at first but this is the best investment I’ve made for my home cleaning so far. It is so easy to use and absolutely powerful! Cleaned by filthy oven and my fridge in no time! Use it on my cupboards and floors daily!

Works as a pull apart higher quality steam shot and does the fridge and windows great. Floors are good too would like to see more steam but then I am not sure that's possible. Recommended and believe me I have had my share of steam mops

Pros: Deja tus pisos más limpios que con un trapeador común, y con el tiempo los pisos se van puliendo ya que el vapor arranca la suciedad incrustada, además de que los pisos secan súper rápido. Contras: El aparato pesa y al inicio es cansado usarlo, el cable es muy largo lo cual es bueno pero puede llegar a ser estorboso, hay que tener cuidado al usar el vaporizador manual ya que el vapor se sale por la manguera, usa guantes de protección o sosten la manguera de lo más atrás que puedas. En general estoy contenta con mi compra, llevo ya varios meses usándola y con el tiempo se hace más fácil.
