The boat came with the screw of the battery cover missing. There is no switch on either the boat or the controller to turn on or off once the batteries are in place, especially for the boat, you either take out the battery or leave the boat on until the battery runs out. You may argue that people tend to use up the battery and naturally they will take the battery out, but there are times that people stop playing when there are still plenty of battery life. In those cases, you need to go through the procedure that you don't need to go if you have a switch.

A little on the slow side. Fun for the kids if they haven't seen a faster one.

Updated review: this time after the review, CS sent me a new boat which is more promising this time. I would customer support is good and they reached out fast and replaced the item fast.Initial Review: Battery dead on 2nd day. Doesn’t charge anymore even after charging for 4hrs. Do not recommend

Package was already opened, 2 screws missing . Unfortunately 2 5 yr olds refuse to allow me to return this. Very disappointed they would ship a used product with missing parts. Tape will only last so long

I liked the shape and look of the boat, but the quality is low: the top does not close properly, the instructions are very poor, and the battery system is rather cumbersome.

They ran great for 25 minutes then both broke!! One of the boats stayed in the on position and only went forward and the other just quit working despite changing batteries.

This RC boat was a great purchase and sets a high bar for other RC machines. The battery life is excellent and way beyond my expectations. The range of control is great too. I don't know the precise range but it is beyond sight. In short, this RC boat will surprise any skeptic, easy to control and lots of fun for young and old.

It’s very slow. Not at all like some of the bigger remote control boats you can get. We also bought a bigger boat off of Amazon, and it puts this one to shame. This would probably be ok for a pool. It’s pretty small for a lake (which is what we purchased it for). I worry that it will break easily.

Felt this product was good value for the money, although it didn't go as fast as expected. However, the battery lasted longer than expected. Remote was accidently dropped in the water - put in a container with some rice and it was fine the next day.
