After trying another brand, which worked well out of the gates, but failed after an accidental spin through the wash, followed by a replacement with the same brand, which never worked properly and ultimately got returned, I found the Oaxis My First Fone kids GPS watch. It took a bit of work to get the SIM card to be recognized, but everything's pretty easy to use now that we've gotten it set up. The app is simple and easy to use, our 7-year old daughter likes the comfort of the soft rubber band and easily makes calls and sends texts. The GPS is spotty, but that seems to be common with these watches. Overall, it's workable and, worst case, if the GPS appears to be lagging, you can always use the phone feature to call to see where they are. The step tracker seems a bit off...unless our daughter did 32,000 steps the past couple days, which isn't likely.

SO disappointed! I bought this for my 9 year old as he wanted an Apple Watch and I refuse to spend that kid of money on him. We got it...without a SIM card. After getting a SIM card and going through the headache of trying to get it to work, we find out that AT&T no kidding get supports this devise. When I inquired with the seller regarding the SIM card after it arrived, all the was stated was, “our new watch comes out soon”. Nothing was said about the watch being out of service and null.

I got this for my daughter and it is very easy to use. I researched a bunch of these watches and I am happy with my purchase.

It was kind of a pain to set up. We have AT&T and we got it to work. Got it set up to my husbands phone but still can’t figure out how to connect mine.

I will be returning this watch. Buyer beware....WATCH IS NOT COMPATIBLE WITH AT&T! A shame because I'm sure my granddaughter would have loved it.

We went to add these to our ATT plan and they couldn’t do it, it’s 3G an they don’t have towers for those anymore so I wasted 140$ (I bought two) for something we can’t even use.

Heavy duty enough the kids won’t break it, but still small enough it isn’t obnoxious for them to wear

My son has been using the watch occasionally for about two years, and it has been working as expected. Now the microphone is not functioning, nothing can be heard during phone calls.
