Perfect fit and performance for a 2.4 non-turbo Volvo engine. Not much else to say, quality spark plugs.

This is the correct OEM plug for your E46 Series BMW without BMW's mark-up
This is the correct plug for most E46 Series BMWs. The price is a small fraction of the dealer cost. It is of the same high quality as every other original part on your BMW. The other clear choice for plugs is the Bosch. Both are of equivalent, superb quality.BMW rates either the Bosch or the NGK plug for 100,000 miles when used on an E46. People who do their own work often change them at 50,000 miles and experience faster starts. Getting access to the cylinder head requires the removal of four "Torqx" head bolts which secure the cabin ventilation cowl the the front of fire-wall above the aft portion of the engine. This is the only real barrier to entry, and it is a deliberate one to keep tinkerers away from the engine. (BMW keeps the unskilled away from their engines by making the engine cover removal non-obvious). There are many good videos on Youtube on how to do this. If you have not seen someone else do the job before, the task will be made easier by watching someone else demonstrate the task for you, on Youtube. Understanding the interlock on the connectors to the spark coils which sit above each plug for instance, is non-obvious to those who have not seen someone do the job before. In this economy many people are doing their own maintenance who would not have dreamed of it three or four years ago. Many of the user forums and the videos available on Youtube offer excellent, step by step advice, on common procedures. These are an excellent aide to learning how to do careful, methodical work on these basic maintenance tasks.

original equipment for 2002 BMW 325ci
2002 BMW 325cithese are identical to the ones i removed from my engine, with one difference.the original ones say "NGK" on one side and " BMW " on the other..., where these new ones don't have the "bmw" letters, just the part #. and NGK...aside from that, I'm planning on buying these again when i reach another 100k...extra: these are the same OEM equipment, but at a fraction of the dealer cost, and if they last as long as the originals, I won't need another set for another 184,000 miles (yes, the originals seem to have lasted 12 years, as far as records go.another note: the image shown portrays a single probe over the electrode, where in fact these have 4 of them. So don't go by the image you see, go by the part number...My car was having a fault in cylinder 5, so i swapped 5's coil and plug with another cylinder that was behaving, and the problem moved to the new swapped cylinder, hence the purchase of these (and coils)... after i performed the tune-up, the car is driving smooth as silk again.

New Life for Your Performance Car's Engine
Jan 2021 Update : I'm still running these plugs in my 2006 Mini Cooper S after 5 years and 50K + miles of driving. These were a great replacement for the original Bosch plugs.May 15, 2015 review: I bought these for my 2006 Mini Cooper S. These platinum plugs, paired with a new Beru Central Ignition Coil and new NGK spark plug wires, made my car run like new again! It was starting to develop a bit of a hesitation when I stepped on the gas pedal, and the "check engine" light had come on. When I read the error code it was for a "misfire - multiple cylinders."I also inspected the spark plug wires, and found that a hole had worn in a part of the wire that runs to cylinder 3. I wasn't sure my CE-light was on because of bad plugs, specifically--or if the wires were also a cause of the problem. However, given that new plugs, new wires, and a new coil only run about $100, replacing those was a good first step to take at home prior to taking the car into a mechanic for a diagnostic test, which probably would have run more than that.Between these plugs, new NGK wires and the Beru coil my car is running like new again! It has a lot more pep, and the check engine light has stayed off after about ~100 miles of driving.

Using 6 plugs for 2000 bmw 323
My bmw is about 97k and the manual says to change the plugs@ 100k miles. Removed the original plugs and found these ngk plugs are what I pulled out. Had to replace the valve cover gasket due to a little oil leak. My gas mileage did improve by 4 - 7 miles from a gallon of gas. Original plugs had a little miss at low rpms and the mpg dipped a little from 28 to 24 mpg. So I decided to replace the plugs. Guess the next time to change plugs is around 190k if not sooner. Hopefully these will hold out till then. So far only 6k miles in these plugs and going great.

didn't work out for me
I'm glad others found this to be a good product. In my 02 Passat V6 they lasted less than 6 months when CEL starting turning on intermittently under acceleration. Independent mechanic found two plugs showed signs of arcing/shorting out. Replaced all of them with OEM plugs. Mechanic said OEM plugs look different from these. Says with VW it is often necessary to check the VIN to order parts. Not a good experience for me. It is theoretically possible the plugs were damaged during installation, but that work was done by a (different) master mechanic with 30 yrs experience (and pretty much a mechanical genius) who has done a lot of other work for me without a hitch. Not sure what is going on here. Maybe were intended for 4-cyl turbo? But Amazon parts finder is pretty definite about the v6 / naturally aspirated motor.
