excellent fun and durable too
We've had this game for about a year and everyone in the family enjoys it. There are three play modes: solo, easy and hard; in Easy, a light and sound let you know your mole should be whacked, while in Hard mode, only your unique sound is the cue. Up to four can play and we have played this with many ages, from 3 to 63, and everyone has had a great time. Our game has had a lot of whacks and still works very well. Excellent value and lots of fun!

A little boys delight
My 3 year old grandson received this game for his birthday. He has a love of hitting things whether it is a t-ball, a golf ball, a hammering toy or things he isn't suppose to be hitting. This was our answer to directing that behavior into something positive. He was absolutely excited to tear it out of it's box and start whacking. He can play with it alone or begin his journey of learning to play with others (his older brother). It's fun, interactive, and helps with visual and listening skills as well.

Just Whac-em!
Love whac a mole. Was a little concerned, I admit, about the political correctness of this toy and teaching our little angel to "whac" things, especially with a new baby sister in the house, but the moles are so cute and funny, and the hammers so light, it's obvious that it doesn't hurt, and of course "the moles aren't real". I like the fact that there are different difficulty levels, but wish that the volume was a little louder (yes, I said LOUDER - hard for even me to believe) because with all the hilarity going on, is sometimes very hard to hear your mole. But overall, very very fun.

Just one of those toys. . .
This is one of those games that I bought on a whim to put under the Christmas tree a few years ago - I found it at a great price on Amazon. My children are now 9, 8 and 5, and this for whatever reason) has remained a consistent favorite. It has a few big pieces, so it is not easy to lose them. The game has worked beautifully since day one. The games are quick and easy, and my children and their friends always pull it out on play dates. I guess sometimes simple is just better. Definitely worth every penny!!

Whac-a-Mole
Those Moles need a good Whac. The game was played as soon as it arrived. In the absence of my 4-yo grand-daughter, my wife and I played. The wife won both games. Everything worked, all the pieces are there, and the sound is good. The moles are quite annoying which makes them more fun to Whac. The game will be a challenge for my 4-yo. That's a good thing. I see this as a retro-alternative to video games.for hand-to-eye coordination development.

My child loves this
I bought this for my 4 year old, and he adores it. It is noisey, and he gets to beat on the moles with a hammer. The game is loud, even on the quieter setting, and has yet to run out of batteries (he's now 5 years old). The hammers are plastic and very durable, he has beaten most of his action figures to death with the hammers. It is a great game if you want to improve hand & eye cordination, but can be complicated for small children. He gets excited and tries to bash all the moles, even when it's not his turn. If you like your children to play quietly this is NOT a game you should purchase. It does NOT have a silient mode, I wish it did. Overall, it is an ok purchse for me the adult, and a great one for my kids.

Fast shipping and excellent packaging. The Leatherman tool feels very premium and sturdy.
A fun electronic talking mole leads the action and keeps score whether you're playing by yourself or competing against a friend. Four moles with attitude light up and give sound clues in this pop-the-mole-back-into-his-hole game. Whack up 100 points to win the two multi-player games! There's no reading involved so even the youngest kids can enjoy the fun!
