Great for broken toes
Great quality for when I broke my toes and needed a solid sole once I got my boot off and needed support in my trainers

Brilliant…. but only with the right sort of footwear!
Moved to write by some of the negative comments in other reviews. I have owned and used a pair of these for nearly a year now and they have enabled me to resume lengthy hikes following a period recovering from a (badly) broken foot. Used in conjunction with hospital orthotics they permit a degree of activity otherwise unthinkable. However, they only do this because I use neutral or “zero drop” boots. As the product description says, they are not intended for use with shoes that have heels, although they may be OK in footwear that only has a modest heel to toe drop with no significant instep. Of course, that rules out the majority of contemporary everyday footwear…. but grim reality is that most everyday footwear is completely unsuitable for recovery from injury… and arguably not that great for long term foot health even if you haven’t yet broken something! For recovery from injury, a flat sole, with a rigid base for your orthotic, is exactly what is needed… One other comment… it might save money, but it is a mistake to buy only one of these. If you do, it’s like only having an orthotic for your injured foot… and there is a reason you always get two orthotics for long term use…. Having different support for each foot screws up the biomechanics. I did this for a while (covid delayed replacement of missing orthotic) and I wound up developing plantar fasciitis in my uninjured foot!

Not good
Only 1 insole good if you have 1 leg

NOT A PAIR!!!!!
I realise the advert said '1 piece', but foolishly took this as '1 pack with a pair of inserts' - you don't buy a single shoe, supposing you only had 1 leg!?

Don’t bother
I bought an insert for my right foot for which I have hallux rigidus of the big toe joint with next to no cartilage left. The insert was a waste of time. It made walking normally impossible and I ended up shoving it into my wellies very occasionally use for the garden! I would definitely not recommend this useless product.you could put a plastic ruler in your shoe for the same uncomfortable effect!

I had a sore toe (possible ligament strain) for months. I have been using the inner sole now for 3 weeks and it has helped a lot. not as sore now and feels like it is healing. I can still walk and run with the inner sole in my shoe. yo ufeel it is there by its not uncomfortable.

Puisque mon autre commentaire est censuré, je le modifie : Article non conforme, la pointure 44 ne convient pas pour des pieds au dessus de la pointure 36. Ceci malgré 2 commandes distinctes.

This carbon fiber insole was recommended to me post-op by my orthopedic surgeon after I had my big toe fused last year. I was to wear it in my running shoe at all times for 6 months post-op to give the fused joint more stability while it was healing. It was fairly easy to initially get into my shoe, however I wear a wide toe box shoe. A year and a half later I'm still wearing the orthotic in my shoe and it still feels great in there and is still holding up well. It really helps with pain and I have no doubt helped with my recovery. Highly recommend. My surgeon is from The Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, FL and he personally recommended this brand of orthotic. As far as I know he does not have any financial interest in this company.
