The Hue outdoor light Strip is perfect and just what I needed for an outdoor door canopy. They offer the same features and functions of any of the smart Hue Lights from Philips but leave you feeling comfortable knowing they are weather proof to leave outside. When I set them up in the day I was a little taken aback as to how dim they seemed but come night I was not disappointed at all. Great brightness and a very consistent colour and the light cast from the lights thankfully there is zero visibility to the LED as separate items as the built in defuser is very good at making this look like a single light. Think of bendy flexible neon and this is what it seems like. It is packaged with strong sturdy clips that need to be secured to a wooden surface, I don't feel the nails they are supplied with are strong enough for concrete but I have not tried it either. The clips themselves fit the size of the aightstrip perfectly and hold it in place very well. The power cord and cable are pretty chunky to be honest so thank about where this is going to go, Extensions are available but they will need to be sourced separately if you need them.

The Philips Hue Outdoor Lightstrip delivers exceptional quality and performance. The colours are vibrant, and the ability to customise lighting scenes adds a personal touch to my outdoor space. Integration with smart home systems is seamless, and setup was straightforward. While the price point is higher than some alternatives, the reliability and features justify the investment.

I bought this on offer without really having an idea where I was going to use it. I am fully invested in Hue, having internal light bulbs and light strips etc, but just have a wall light outside so far. In the end, in a moment of inspiration I placed it across the top strip of my electric roller garage door. I thought it would look a bit different, and it certainly does, nobody else thought of that round these parts (there's probably a good reason for that). It certainly shows off a decent amount of colour and brightness, in fact for a more subtle effect I have this on quite low brightness. My only gripe is I expected more colour gradient across the lightstrip but it seems to just be solid colours so far. Maybe that's a limitation of the lightstrip, but could be my lack of expertise using it.

Easy set up and brilliant range of effects.

Bought 2 sets of these back in May during building of my extension. Finally opened them today as the garden is nearly finished and I was adding the final touches. To my horror both packs have 2 pin plugs not 3 pin. I thought to myself no drama I’ll go out and buy an adaptor… unfortunately when you plug it into an adaptor there’s so much movement that it doesn’t make contact. So unless I sit in the shed and hold the plug in one position they won’t work. Waste of money

I’ve tried many of these strip lights in the past from multiple manufacturers but I always keep coming back to the Hue range, more expensive but totally worth it

I am a bit of a Hue fan and this product doesn't disappoint.
